I'm looking for work, and just received the following email:

Greetings, After viewing your profile on US MILITARY PIPELINE, We believe you are qualified for this position, and have forwarded your resume to the Head of Human Resources, Mr.Richard Wilson. He would like to conduct an on-line interview With you on 11/03/14 at 08:00 your time to discuss more about the Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position that is yet to be occupied . Set Up a Screen name with yahoo Instant Messenger on-line at www.messenger.yahoo.com and add up the Head of Human Resources, Mr Richard Wilson to your buddy list. His Screen Name with Yahoo Instant Messenger is: richardwilson484 If the time is not convenient for you, feel free to email Mr Richard at this Email address: [Scam email address removed just in case someone wanted the opportunity.] He will be waiting to talk to you on yahoo messenger right away. Endeavour to get on-line ASAP. I Wish you the best of Luck on the Interview. If you have any problem, Please feel free to email back .

***************************

Obviously, this is a scam. The English is horribly mangled, giving the Head of HR a yahoo email is ridiculous (and the email originated from a hotmail address), TechnologyOne is an Australian company that has no US presence, no job description or website link was included, and I'm way overqualified for an Admin Asst/Data Entry job.

So what do I do? I'd rather not add to my YM list because it requires an act of Congress to remove from the YM list. Just ignore it, play along and request a job description, or other course of action?

And, no I'm not a veteran. A friend suggested that if I used the US Military Pipeline site, I'd get to see extra job postings.

I'd ignore it. Easier that way. Check usajobs.gov.

I agree. Just ignore it. That way no one will even be able to infect your computer with a virus or something.

Have you tried replying to the scam spam with an image of gay porn in the reply? It works wonders in getting you removed from the lists. Those new laws in Nigeria are horrible, but this is an upside to them.
