Say you have some BDSM sessions stored on your iPad or iPhone, and some of it may be considered a "must prosecute" offense in your area, as domestic violence etc

And some local LEO wants a peek into your files for whatever reason, and has obtained a warrant

A circuit court judge has just ruled that the cops can force you to unlock your device if it is fingerprint-protected

Though they cannot as of yet force you to remember any kind of code that you would have to punch in from memory

Something to possibly consider with your next purchase

Something else to consider - there are devices on the market with available security that is virtually impossible for the police to crack

This is exactly why I will never record any of my sessions or put questionable pictures of myself on any electronic devices. Problem solved.

The police are out of control. Its been happening a long time.

Don't trust the police.
Maybe don't store sex/session tapes on your iPad.

Thankfully, there is a very easy way around this. They have no way of knowing which finger(s) you use for fingerprint authentication. After several failures failures it locks out the fingerprint reader and requires your code to open the device.

Even simpler. Don't kill people, or put them into the hospital and they won't bother looking for evidence.

easy, dont use iPhone. Store it on your PC till cops wont get permission to remotely access any computers
