Who the Fuck thought it was a good idea to make wheelbarrow wheels inflatable instead of solid,And Who was the second "Einstein" to make some wheelbarrow tires beaded instead of a tube?Does anyone really need that extra amount of traction and shock absorption,it's a fucking wheelbarrow,10 miles perhour is the fastest it gets,and even that is a bit hasty compared to their usual use.....Gawd damn it china(or who ever slaps these things together these days),Gimmie a simple wheelbarrow with a simple wheel with a simple rubber tire that doesn't need inflating,just a rubber collar with tread wrapped round a metal wheel.... sorry fer the rant,wrestled a gawd damn tire back onto it's bead(finally gave up and used a can of brake fluid and a match) just to have it drain out all it's air like ten minutes later...I think I'm just gonna fill the tire with insulating foam now,see how that works...either that,or I just trim the rim flat and use that but really,it seems like most things made these days are intentionally made to die and need maintenance with in a single season,if not sooner. plastic rakes, plastic handled sponge mops,plastic on plastic rivets and screws,plastic rope,plastic razors,plastic fences and plastic barrels,everything is shitty and plastic,and sold to you in a plastic bag from a big plastic store..... plastic plastic plastic it's fantastic,make everything cheap and disposable,then sell nothing but the cheap and disposable till every one forgets that there used to be such a concept as "made to last ".

I'm lacking in upper body strength, I'm the type who needs a sturdy wheelbarrow and a nearby pig farm. (not that I've thought about this or put any of it into practice [8D] )

Wheelbarrows have inflatable tires because solid tires are a stone bitch to get over obstacles when you have a full load in the wheelbarrow. It's a feature, not a flaw.

It's a feature, not a flaw. ya'd think so,but a friend of mine HAS an ancient 1960some'thing wheel barrow that has a metal wheel,and even thou the wheel is flattened on one side(don't know how she managed that)it still works more or less fine,even with a narrow damaged metal wheel...yeah a fully inflated wheel in good condition works a bit better,but not that much better that it should warrant the extra maintenance, especially when a solid state rubber tire would provide the same feature more or less with out the fus

They make "flat-free" replacement tires that have a lower durometer than hard rubber so you get the best of both worlds. Problem solved.

And somehow I don't think I'm the type to mess around with nomadic or stationary bare knuckle boxers. Bookies... maybe. If I've a clean safe getaway. I've a larcenous heart but lack the followthrough. There are so many potential crimes out there just begging to be committed! But I don't like the thought of jail lol. Hurrah! Freedom to ramble all over your thread! The board is too slow for me. There is the temptation to post on every.single.thread out of sheer boredom. I'd go for a walk but it is raining and cold so I'm snuggled up under my bedcovers while typing. That leaves me with a slow forum and thoughts of running amok.

I'm in Austin Texas, used to live in Michigan where 55 and rainy was a good day. After six years of Texas I've acclimated a bit too much lol, anything below 75 and I'm a pitiful shivering wreck. On the plus side I can now tolerate 102 in a pair of jeans. The window is cracked open and I'm refusing to turn on the heat aka the heater as it is called down here. I miss fresh air. Most of the time it is too freaking hot to open a window so I'm putting up with/whining about the chill just so I can have fresh air.

I'm making crawfish etoufee in an hour, that will warm me up. Just have to decide between crusty french bread and cornbread. (seriously if I'm driving you nuts by talking too much just tell me to hush and go away, I've been gone from this forum for a few years and apparently I've a huge build up of words stuck inside of me)

I also feel weirdly shy about posting on most threads because I was gone for several years from this site. So there is this 'people won't have a clue who I am, who is this bitch inserting her unwanted opinion" thing going on in my head. Yes for a hyper-chatty person I'm really very shy.
