This is probably a stupid question, but oh well. I'm new to this life style.
I need a way to say good bye, like on the phone or whatever, to my master. He said as an example, "Master, I am your property.", "Slave, I own you." I'm not very good at this, so some one please help me!

Good bye or Good night has always worked fine for me.

I believe he should be the one to end the conversation at which time I find Good By is too final and too ending. I'd probably use something like "Untill we talk again" or as a friend usually sayed to me "Laters." Of course there is always the Aussie "Hooroo" (Pron: HOO-ROO ~ OO as in MOO)

I always just say "Good bye, Master, and thank you."  Sometimes he hangs up before I get a chance to say goodbye...and then I just kinda whimper that same thing into the phone, and tell him I love him.

You are certainly to be commended for trying to be upfront -- as opposed to just disappearing... But whatever you say, DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT say that you want to stay friends! Lol, but: seriously, ou can try to stay friends, over time and in time, but just don't say it. If you haven't figured it out by now, no guy ever likes to hear that...

If trying to be nice doesn't work, change your phone #, address, etc...: good luck!

i take it this is merely a friendly good-bye and not one that is perminant? it's just the close of a conversation, is that correct?

The last thing I say to my owner every night whether he is home next to me or away and on the phone is "Thank you for keeping me". Every day first thing I ask him is to "Please keep me".

So many ideas, but the simplest is best. Say Goodbye and if he wants something different, he'll tell you.  Oh and by the way,I agree with Mistoferin...I have no clue what that was about!

Hmmmm... I suspect it's entirely possible I just might have stepped on my johnson here, lol -- it was not a permanent Goodbye? It's just the end of a phone conversation? Ooooopsy daisy!

Say what's in your heart...

I tell my slave to "Continue" (meaning, continue in service to me). she/he answers with, "Ma'am, yes Ma'am." This is used in email, IM, phone and real time. It's part of my protocol.

I have a very strict protocol that I demand she follow in this regard in our evening phone calls or online chats.  She of course may NEVER initiate the "goodbye" sequence; she waits until I am ready to say goodnight to her.  Once her curtains were on fire and she broke this rule and said "goodnight, Sir, my house is burning down."  I punished her for a week for that insubordination!

Here is our protocol:

Once I say "I think I shall retire for the evening" she replies "Oh, my Mighty Sir, thank you for letting lowly meaningless me be Yours, and letting me stay in Your grace and presence.  The world does but spin on its axis to serve You, my Lord, and all the beings of the seas and the birds of the skies praise Thy name.  I am but a worm, lower than the low and oh I am so grateful to be owned by You.

She then walks around her bedroom clockwise seven times (having first put the phone on "speaker" mode) each time chanting one of the Seven Names of Power which I have been granted by the House of D'orly, one of the great Houses of Power in the Old Guard of Leather.  Should she ever once mispronounce one of the 17 letter names, she must fall to her knees and flagellate herself until blood drips from the wounds.

As this task is completed (or typed out to Me in email), she whispers "May I arise in the morning cleansed of my many sins and be clean and pure and able to serve MASTER, the most LORDLY and WISE of the Masters.  May this unworthy slag be made perfect in his Sight.  GOODNIGHT, my darling and ONE TRUE SIR."

I don't know why I can't keep a submissive for more than a week?

E.

"It's the same thing," he said.

I usually don't post in the Master forum, but....

I always liked when I heard "Sweet Dreams (Or sleep well) Ma'am, you will be in my thoughts as I sleep".
