I think it's fine, as long as everyone knows what's going and you don't feel you would be contributing to some unhealthy aspects of their marriage. That said, if you engage with someone who is married you're smart to keep your involvement in perspective. You will never be the primary focus, and you're smart not to get too emotionally involved with the person or situation.
