I was reading something about trust and it sparked a memory of an event that occurred many years ago that was of a non-sexual nature, but it turned into a very erotic moment for me.
(Erotic moment = made me wet my panties.)

I was in school, (post-secondary), taking broadcasting communications, (I've had a varied career life), and due to the fact a production team is interdependent and relies heavily on each person to do their job or it becomes a house of cards that self-implodes, our production instructor had us perform a trust exercise. (As part of complete disclosure and to assist with understanding my reaction, I should reveal at this point that I had a wee crush on our production instructor who went on to direct certain sci-fi shows produced in Vancouver, Canada...but I digress.)

I volunteered to go in the first group that were the, uh, "victims", if you will. Each of the first group of victims was blindfolded. (Oh yeah...that got "things" started with me.) We were told to follow the person leading us and trust that they wouldn't let anything happen to us. I was fully on board and followed without hesitation. We went all over the place. At one point I knew we were in the pool area (humidity and chlorine were the giveaways) and our individual leaders took us across the somewhat narrow bulkhead straddling the pool. Then we were lead to some place that I had no clue about. I couldn't figure out where we were, but our individual leaders left us. I think most everyone just stood where they were left. But I decided to just start walking...after all, we were told that no one without blindfolds would let us come to any harm. I don't know how he did it, but my instructor managed to sneak up on me without me hearing him come as close as he did. And speaking very quietly, but deliberately (and VERY closely) into my left ear...he commanded me to stop. Which I did immediately. He then said in the same tone of voice "if you take one more step you are going to hurt yourself."

When my blindfold came off, I discovered I wouldn't have hurt myself, so I'm not altogether certain what that whole dialogue was about. A mind fuck, just because he could?

It was the wee crush, the commanding sound of his voice dictating what I was not to do, and being blindfolded...all of it...together...made me "cream my jeans" (to borrow a line from a song).

It was the most erotic moment I've ever had doing something non-sexual. (Other than the sex going on between my ears that is.)

Anything happen in a non-sexual context that made you react similarly?

(I have to get my thrills somehow. ;)

I have a lot of stories, one comes to mind about Leonardo, this masseuse at a spa I went to.....

But I am not feeling very erotically minded the past few days.

This may not be quite what the OP is looking for -- not sure. But here are two "non-erotic" moments ...

1) My girl works nearby where I'm working Tuesdays and Thursdays for a few months. Those are incredibly busy days for me right now, and while I'm perfectly capable of either buying something on the go or packing a lunch, she comes by, with her dog (who goes to work with her), to bring me lunch/dinner. She's busy, and can only stay a few moments when she does, but in those moments, desire for her is extremely high. It's just a sweet, caring, loving gesture, but I love it, and her, and want her all the more.

2) She was a conference for three days in Washington, so I had a lot of "me" time instead of "us" time that weekend. I spent it doing "man chores" (stacking all the rest of the yearly firewood delivery, things like that), and contacting a friend in Canada who is an excellent coach specifically for people looking for something to do next in their lives, but they aren't sure what it might be. We talked about where she is -- doing some of what she wants, but wanting to move on as well to something more -- and set up an introductory program to see how it resonates with her, and a coaching package ready to go if it did. When she and I talked at the end of one of her packed conference days, she brought up again how she needed to find that next thing, so I shared the surprise with her. She just about came on the phone, going on about how much she loves me, how happy she is to be my girl, how much she misses me, our bed, and so forth.

So what strikes me about these together with the OP's observations, is that in both instances, we were experiencing that deep trust and caring between partners (which, even though she's collared, clearly we are life partners, each bringing unique skills and talents and actions to the relationship) -- and that trust and caring sparks our sexual connection, which is really a reflection of the deep heart connection we have. Which is why she looks so hot bringing my lunch, and why she gets wet when I pay attention to helping her grow where she wants to grow.

If that makes sense.

I think just the fact that you have such a deep relationship makes these daily couple things tinged with your sexual connection.

I find what you wrote to be more romantic and caring than erotic per se.

But to me the romantic and caring aspect is so much the foundation of eroticism.

Yes, agreed -- our relationship tinges everything with our sexual connection. And granted, from the outside, it's romantic rather than erotic. The point is, as you've noted, that it's erotic from inside that experience.

Which is how the OP strikes me as well. Not exciting personally, but I can see how it would excite her in that situation specially because of the connection she was feeling to the instructor. I'll bet if someone else had been her partner in that exercise, she'd have had a different, non-erotic, experience.

It's about the connection.
