joether -> Where are the Tyrants in America? (11/22/2014 11:51:26 AM)

So the President is making an executive order on immigration because the current session of Congress cant do anything; and it doesn't look like the next one will accomplish much/anything for the American people. Republican/Tea Partiers are angry and their thralls, conservatives and libertarians, are as well. To this, I am refering to....how...these people have responded to the news.

This article has many 'goodies' from conservatives and libertarians displaying 'shock value' and 'dis-respectfulness to the office of the President'. The images come from the Drudge Report. In....TRUE.....Drudge fashion, everything is written to the reader as: fear, Fear....FEAR!

We are going to see anarchy (or the RED BOLD VERSION OF ANARCHY as shown on the Drudge)? Mass Hysteria? Better get those guns and head for the bunker. Please...stay there for the next....forever....ok?

But its more than just the usual talking heads here. These people have thrown out the history books, logic, reasoning, or even behaving like a responsible adult. Going back to the Eisenhower Administration, each US President has used the executive privilege as it could concern with the immigration debate. Numbers dont seem to matter to those on the political 'right'. If one person was found guilty in a court of law for voter fraud, the 'right' would spew forth tens of thousands of other examples of the same (without showing actual evidence of wrong doing of course....). That the 'right' displays a total lack of understanding with the ACA's numbers shows they should visit public libraries more often. So a few million person's in the nation are allowed to live here, because..."We the People..." have decided so. Its called 'elections'. We had an election in 2012 for President. Mr. Romney lost by a wide margin.

Yes, former President Eisenhower to Mr. Obama, have used the executive privilege on the topic of immigration. That would include, former Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush. Last I checked, all three were voted in by Republicans, right? If they can 'do no wrong' using this form of policy negotiation, then Mr. Obama can as well.

Why does the 'right' behave this way? Why do they behave like little children? Its one thing to establish a person is against the President's viewpoint on a particular topic. But there are ways of doing like an adult rather than an eight your old child. We even see it right here on the forums. Why do you many of you behave like children on this and other topics? If you want your guns, then the expectation is you behave like an adult all the time, right? Shouldn't this apply to non-gun owners as well? Yes.

I can not look at the rantings of some of these well known types of conservative politics (referring to the Media Matters article), and wonder "Could this incite someone of lesser reasoning and wisdom to 'take matters into their own hands' and do something....dreadful"? The answer is 'yes', its called 4/19/95. Not many people get the reference without looking it up. That we have so many ignorant, that we are foolishly daring to allow history to repeat itself. I sincerely hope not!

Anarchy has nothing to do with chaos what so ever.

Presently the system can penalize you for a countless number of things that do not damage, harm, or inconvenience anyone. AKA victimless crimes. For instance jwalking when the road is perfectly clear, and use that system to collect revenue from you with fines, or they throw your ass in jail.

In other words a government lording over you as compared to anarchy where it is left to the courts and the rule of law.

So in a nutshell, anarchy is not a lawless free for all, but directly examines situations case by case and strives to be lawful and governmentless to prevent the government from having (and abusing) the blank check situation we have now to collect revenue. Class one cities have people lined up all the way out the door and into the streets paying the road nazis for victimless crimes.

Many people fail to understand the distinctions between law (stare decis) and government.

Some friends and I were reading your post and one of the questions that arose was whether there's a way for people to contribute to your Ministry. Also, one of the guys wanted to know if you have hats and tshirts.

Thank you in advance.

What is the first entry for the word 'anarachy' under synonyms?

'Chaos'

If anarchy had nothing to do with chaos, please explain why chaos is the first word to describe anarchy? That most people describe 'anarchy' as chaos or chaotic. That's because anarachy = chaos. Sort of like how law = order.

I know this is a 'shot in the dark', but what does....any....of this have to do with the topic?

I see someone has been letting Vox tell him what Republicans think again, so they can tell him what he should think and say.
