I am curious... if anyone has any advice, cost free tips or knows anyone in the central Pennsylvania area that does branding? My im newly collared and begging for permanent markings and I'm new to the idea but would like to be branded. Anyone with ideas?

Yeah. Slow down. You joined the site six weeks ago. You say you're newly collared and you haven't even updated your profile to indicate you're owned. There's something called "sub frenzy", where a sub discovers their submissive nature and looks to scratch that itch instantly. It took me four months before I collared my sub. And I was moving too fast but I knew we were extremely compatible. My suggestion for you would be to get a henna tattoo and renew it regularly. Every time you renew it, you can experience the thought of being owned.

I agree with DS, a brand is usually permanent and a first dominant isn't. If you want to get a brand then do it for yourself and not because it makes you feel more owned. Even with a long term dominant I would strongly suggest you don't have his initials branded onto your flesh and that you choose a symbol that means something to you. I'm not submissive and I have a few brands. They are very artistically done and most people mistake them for white ink tattoos. You really need to join BME http://www.bme.com/ so that you can learn about the different types of tattoos because believe me, some brands are bloody awful. BME will also direct you to a good brander in your area and if he has a profile on BME you can look at his work and read his reviews. Think carefully before you act.

Dont do permanent marking or any difficult to fix changes at the early stage of the relationship. It takes time before you know sure your owner wont leave you or wont any complication appear. There are slaves that done permanent marking for there owner , and later on there owner left them or some other complication resulting the relation to be terminated. There are owner, who use there sub/slave as play thing , even make them do permanent marking , but once they had there fun, they just leave. Actually one of my friends had an owner for not even a week. He got strict rules and blabla from the owner , but the owner left him for somebody else, for a new slave who lives close.

I have had two people who wanted me to mark them with my initials. I'm not with either any more so I'm sure they are thankful I refused to give them a permanent reminder. Our long term girl wanted us to brand her, which we did, but she at least had the sense to choose a small discreet Pagan symbol that she could wear without question.

There was a slave, like 1 year ago, asked how can all his teeth be removed. He explained that his master imagined how sexy he would look. Every D & s said NO, some just said it's stupid , some said a good explanation why DON'T DO IT. In the end he didnt do it, actually he's owner too joined the discussion and told us he wont do it. Some slave have even chip implanted. If you have the money, you can buy one and implant the chip into the slave. To bad the chip reader wont read the slave info, just the chip ID without being programed to read the chip stored data.

Wow, what a sociopath. It's really too bad for this girl, but I think tattoo removal can be done for free with "special circumstances". Usually Gang related but she might be able to plead her case and have her insurance cover it. I can't imagine them saying no if they will remove tattoos off those who got it of their own accord. This is a good thread because I want my slave to eventually get a tattoo, something symbolic and unassuming but we'd both know he was marked for life and for me. This of course depends on how our training sessions go now and in the future. I won't be marking up one month into the relationship.

Manko, she is/was too impoverished to have insurance and four small pieces of baggage with her. It was his treatment of the baggage that broke it all.

When I think Permanent mark", I think some tat...small...that's chosen together with MY color in it. That way, if and when things go "boom", she carries memories of me and my color but that's all.

The problem isnt with the tattoos , it's with the relationship. There are sub/slaves that have a tattoos of ownership and still have a great relationship. It takes time to know if this relationship will work for lifetime, and when i say time, i mean years. One year or two is not enough. I sometimes find in forum post, not here, that a slave is searching for owner who would brand her/him. Some of them are bellow 30. I wanted to get a tattoo but my owner said no, and i'm bellow 30. There are other like me with the same idea that once they get owned, they should have a tattoo. If my owner didnt said no, i would have had one right now.

I have seen a TON of people get relationship tattoos, and later regret them. In my opinion, if someone takes that leap, it's best to choose something that has meaning to the couple, but isn't so specific that if the relationship ends there is regret for it. IE: I have friends, and the Dom calls the sub "pup", so they are planning on getting a little paw print tattoo. If it ends, it won't be something she has to worry about with future relationships.

I agree with what has been previous said regarding being cautious and waiting a while before doing this. However, you may want to look into cell popping and/or temporary branding with a violet wand.[sm=2cents.gif]

There are very rare occasions where I feel permanent markings surrounding a significant other, vanilla or otherwise, are a decent or even good idea. Being newly collared isn't one of them. OP, I hope you take the advice on this thread to heart. Sub frenzy and New Relationship Energy are real things and can mess with your head. I know you're excited, and I'm happy for you. But give the relationship some time to sink in.
