Happy Thanksgiving!

I have much to be thankful for this year:

-- Surviving a variety of health challenges.
-- Amazing family and friends who've stood by me.
-- Wonderful doctors and nurses.
-- Spirit-filled and loving church community.
-- The Book of Common Prayer.
-- Health insurance.
-- An understanding employer.
-- Living in a beautiful city.
-- Engaging work.
-- A flair for writing.
-- Comfy apartment in a vibrant neighborhood.
-- So much more.

What's on your gratitude list today?

I am thankful for my family.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I had all my kids home this year and am very thankful they are all happy, safe, and sound. Lots and lots to be thankful for this year.

My children, my partner.

But mostly that my daughter, who was supposed to never survive, is thriving.

That my son, who had a rough couple of years, is doing wonderfully.

Happy Thanks Giving! I did some reflecting with a bottle of vodka.

But I am indeed thankful. I dodged everyone today and stayed in my darkened room. I cant remember if I ate either, but it doesn't really matter. I am ok and that's just fine.
