The fact that some people have tried this scam should be enough to tell you there's no minimum intelligence requirement. And if people are dumb enough to dream it, they're dumb enough to fall for it.

Example: People fall for Nigerian prince scammers and Russian bride scammers all the time.

Unfortunately there is a sucker born every minute. On fet, in some of the Ask A groups, this comes up a lot. That they got this and were stupid enough to cam.
