Tis the holiday season upon us...maxed out credit cards, eggnog, too much food. I just want a warmer climate (read Belize). The family is doing okay. Got a follow up on the 8th with my pain management doctor, the thyroid doctor on the 4th for Mom. She gets to go to Aspen on the 14th for my brother's renewal of vows (25th anniversary), leaving me all alone with several bottles of soda, a few mac and cheese meals and a marathon playing session of Runescape. I will get to that damn elf city! Right now, my bed is covered with yarn. Deflated the coreball so I can have more room, found several long sleeve shirts. Back started hurting from standing too long so I am taking a wee break. Until something bad happens, good luck everyone and catch you later.

Hip injury and pregnant, so I spend a lot of time wrapped up in blankets and sleeping. Ha ha. Sub's (baby's father's) parents spoiled her on Saturday and bought me a ton of stuff for her. I was so grateful. Working up the courage to go to a munch (ha ha, that sounds funny) and overcome my shut in little hermit ways. Sub will be attending with hopefully as well. Planning to go home for the holidays. All in all, I hope to have a pretty good month.

December is...busy as shit. We doubled our gross sales from last year for mail order. Thats because of me. BUT SERIOUSLY. The work I've put in already and the results are phenomenal- but if November was so good...December is scary busy. SCARY. BUSY. I'm trying like hell to not over eat. I don't think I'm going to many holiday parties because I'm trying to lose weight and its just impossible if I go. I'm in a really weird place right now.

Well, my birthday's on the 7th. Life is pretty....boring. I am trying to get a job not just so i can start saving up for my transgender expenses but also so i have something to do.

December is definitely one of my less favourite months. I dislike Iowa winters and despise Christmas. Generic Dude and I have been on a home improvement kick. We finished replacing storm windows and switched out the sliding patio doors for french doors.......with much cussing and grumbling. This last weekend we took advantage of the weather and did the last of tree trimming. After that was done and the mess cleaned up, I did another textured ceiling removal. It's a messy process and tedious but it's all repainted and done. One big room to go. Maybe over the next holiday. I may dislike the season but I am feeling very fortunate and loved.

Just finished up laying down a wood floor in my home. Inhaled a shit load of sawdust and now my sinuses hate me. Also, my spine wants to detach from my body. My kingdom for a pain killer and a personal masseuse.

Survived the Thanksgiving madness at work. Overnight shifts are a thing of the past, until Christmas gets closer. My sleep cycle is about back to normal. Except now we have to come in an hour earlier every Monday for inventory. "An hour earlier" being 4am. Ugh. Snowbirds are all here now, and just as arrogant and entitled as ever. Say northerners, can you take your relatives back? Boyfriend and I are trying to plan a quick trip back up to Disney before Christmas madness completely sets in.

I'm about to finish my first semester back at school in over 20 years; maintaining a 96.4% average. Starting to write, seriously, again and developing my novel, rather nicely. December always was kind of a bad month for me. My grandmother died 08 DEC 75 and my son was killed 20 DEC 12 (But didn't die until the 22nd, the tough bastard! Ooooorah!). Not looking forward to this month. Screen captures (and pissing on shadows) *still* RULE! Ya feel me?

Is it really December already? I'm still not used to it being 2014. Where to begin... Well, things are going well all around really. I have a new coworker who seems to have a crush on me. She's always finding a reason to be at my desk though she works on the other side of the cube farm from me, flirting whenever she gets a chance, etc. She's quite the hot little thing too, long red hair, blue eyes, etc so this will be quite interesting to say the least. The band is winding down for the year finally(too many gigs at once). We have one more gig on Saturday then we're going to hole up for 6 weeks, write some new music, maybe putting an EP together, and tightening up a few things that we've been noticing aren't quite where they need to be. All is quiet on the home front. I just laid down the first batch of home brew so we'll see how that turns out. In two weeks I'll have a fresh 5 gallons of beer, which may be distributed as Christmas gifts [;)] All in all it's been an interesting year I'd say and 2015 will be quite the adventure.

A handful of My paintings are showing at the aRt Cottage in Concord, CA til the end of the year, then I'll be gathering a new batch to the Valley Art Gallery, CA for the next showing. If you'd like a peek at Me style : Art of Ambrozya I'm painting every day, working on 3 to 6 paintings as I mix up too much colour! My theme is tenebrism, and the hidden body. . yess a figure in each piece ~ I am still seeking My Studio - hoping for a life/work but certainly willing to invest in a decent place of My own in the San Francisco Bay Area!

I'm late to this thread. I haven't been on in a while, or posted. We have been working like dogs! I managed to get the Christmas decor up around the 6th. The lights looked like the Clampets have christmas lol. Hubby fixed them and they look great now. Brats mother is here with us. She is totally cool. She knows everything as far as our lifestyle. After she leaves on Friday, I'll go to my moms, then stop and visit his mom for a few hours. I love chrisas but I'm ready for this one to be over.
