Okay. No Brits. Or no Brits with an opinion on this.

Here's why I ask. I am, generally speaking, pro-European. I am returning home over the holidays, and I am sure my Eurosceptic friends will be ready with some feisty debate on the subject. So I need to get polishing my arguments.

I think on the whole, I am between the status quo and renegotiate positions.

Anyone got some 'get out' arguments to throw my way?

Europe is an important market for the UK and upon which a many great jobs depend, mine for example.

Regardless of whether the UK is in or out of the EU, selling to Europe means playing by EU rules.

I agree. If you move it to where MTYR suggested or to the more tame "Current Affairs" P&R, I will be more than happy to provide some argument for the UK leaving the EU.

I see both pros and cons to the EU. I'm glad Ireland stood firm on the Lisbon Treaty. I feel like the EU does help strengthen economies and pools GDP however all countries should be careful to tread the delicate line of sovereignty. This will always be an issue as long as the EU exists.
