Boy it sure is expensive:( 2500 for the neuro psycho, 500 for a blind psychological test, 300 for the educational assessment and then 150 an hour for a tutor. And they recommend you come everyday for four hours:/One place is 65 an hour, but still, that's a big ouch

What's the reason you're thinking of doing that?

The educational testing and tutoring would be a huge help, cuz I have difficulty with learning in general.and I know that there's un diagnosed learning issues. I was thinking about trying to go back to school, and with possible discalculia and the extreme difficulties that I have in understanding math I won't be able to do the course work nessesary to pass the exit exams, their program helps work on the weak or damaged functions, make them stronger, teach the student the tools their missing. I can get very, very brief and minimal testing at the local colledge, they do placement testing, and they have accomodations for ld students. But that's only if they have any courses that interest me.

Neuro and pych would test cognitive abilities and find out if the person has mood disorders, or psychological disorders,(which after talking to me he believes I might have an un diagnosed mood dis order) test their iq. It could explain a lot of shit, and it could open doors for me that were previously closed.

Carol(my therapist) is going to look into things while I look into it.

It's also possible I might have un diagnosed mild developmental delays that were not caught.

My son went to a neurologist/pediatrician ages ago, but insurance paid for it. So no clue about all that.

If you want to attend classes, and aren't worried about getting a degree have you considered checking into classes held at a local community center? Or a community college?

I've considered it, but at the time, they didn't have any courses that interested me, or that I felt I could understand. I will look again it maybe different now.
