ORIGINAL: GoddessDustyGold I enjoyed the book and also own the Handbook for slave training. Of course, I simply enjoy reading and taking in as much information in whatever format I can get it. And these are "easy reads". There is always something new to read and I take what works for Me and adapt or dismiss the rest. I would recommend this book or both, if you like. If I might ask you, I have read many bad reviews on "Screw the Roses...", so I have not ever purchased that one. Did you find it good? I'm a total reader, but I must admit I've not read even one of the books, other than the first I owned, cover to cover. I read the chapters that interest me or will round me out. Screw the Roses is a good book. The problem is there is so much information it can be hard to deal with. I got it after I'd already had most of the others. Someone told me it wasn't a book for beginners. Rather than interpret it as being so daunting to deal with it sent newcomers screaming into the night, I took it to mean it was advanced. It isn't so much that the book is advanced as it deals with EVERYTHING the newbie needs to know, such as how to finish a rope end by whipping it, the nerves to avoid in wrist bondage and how to make their own toys. It is too much info for someone new to the scene.. it's major overload. Order it into your local Barnes & Noble if they don't keep it stocked (one of our local B&N does.) When it gets there, take it to a corner and curl up with it for a half an hour. See if you like the style and see anything you've not seen before. Since you're a voracious reader, it might not. I do like it around for reference & am glad I purchased it.
