i agree. 1940s: not so much. In fact then, through to the 1970s - not a high point in women's hairstyles. 1980s: bearable. 1990 onward: fine.

Hats, though. Women's hats. God I wish hats for women would come back into fashion. Some men it's shoes - me, it's hats. Yes.

Hats.

Women.

Hats and women.

That was neat.

I have to say, I think 2010 was the best.

80's, by far, the worst. I can say that. I grew up with that hairdo.

The older styles, 1910-1930, are certainly beautiful. But I still like the naturally long look better.

Best of all: the hair wavy and pulled back, little ringlets just in front of the ears - as though some hairs have 'broken free from everything that's been swept behind'. God I love that look. Inspires poetry, paintings and steamy novels, does that.

I go for 2000 look, long, simple, natural, a wash and go style and doesn't require 5 cans of Aqua Net to hold it in place. I liked the 1990 cut too minus the bobby pin.

Oh yes, I have to agree. My hair is very long, about mid-back. I usually put it in a french braid after washing it. In the morning I take the braid out and have soft, wavy hair. I pull it back into a pony for the day. I get more compliments from men on my long hair then I ever did when I used to pay a fortune for haircuts, dye jobs, perms and fussed with it every morning before going out.

Same here - my hair is mid-back. While my hair has mostly been long all my life, this is the longest it has been in a very long time. (Since childhood, maybe.) I almost never wear a braid, though. My hair is layered, so I guess I've always thought I can't. ...Can I? Anytime I've tried I've had weird pieces hanging out all over the place. Maybe I'm just bad at braids. Unfortunately, I still have to fuss with it a little bit. But the work is minimal. I can't imagine how much work it took for some of those older styles. Or maybe it means going to bed in curlers each night - not an attractive thought.

My first thought was: Couldn't they afford an attractive model? What is this obsession with the bone-skinny? The poor girl had no cheeks; just cheek bones.

Any-ol'-way: I liked the 60s, 70s, and 00s but, having lived through the decade (and I mention that as an accomplishment because if you can remember it, you weren't there), I have to give an honorable mention to the 80s.

They chose the "Madonna 80s" as opposed to the "Heavy Metal 80s". There's definitely a difference.

I do. My best friends son is possibly, gay?
She is very worried about it. Or concerned.
He is an absolute jewel. He cares about people, does his absolute best.
Anyone want to argue this fact?

You will please notice that the meme I posted reads: "MUSIC: You're doing it wrong!"; not: "Life: You're doing it wrong!"

Ease up. I'm sure he's a great guy and his dog loves him, too. His music, however, sucks eggs.

Why is she worried about it?
