I don't actually follow Astrology (though I am definitely into Ass-trology [groan, lol]) and I don't read the horoscope -- but I don't deny the effects of gravitational influnces, however infinitesimal... But I sure do fit the archetype: I am a Scorpio always rising!

a fiery sag... another question might be what does the zodiac mean or represent to you and do you follow it? the more i read, the more i see how it fits into my life and how really well it works. someone told me recently that subs are weak, not strong. i almost laughed myself silly at that one. this is also the same person that wanted to have sex on the first meet as soon as he walked in the door. he is a capricorn. that doesn't mean all caps aren't my ideal but the leos really turn me on. give me a true leo and i'm a puddle. now all i need is a strong leo that doesn't smoke, has wood working skills and needs a lil subbie... aellea

I am a Sagittarius born on the cusp of Capricorn, so I'm an interesting mix of traits. I'm pretty much happy go lucky, love to travel and have fun. My Cap side is all business and logic, so I need it to balance me out. My sub is pure virgo, he is very meticulous and always worrying! Drives me crazy sometimes[:)] but I love him. ~Lashra

Astrology seems to work for me on initial meetings. There are definite personality types so if I know where you are in my Zodiac.. I simply use it as a guide. My teacher (way back in the '70's) told me that a "cusp" really doesn't indicate anything. You cannot be in two places at the same time and people tend to identify with the one they feel is more flattering. I have found that if a cusp person will look at their whole chart, you will notice that may be you have your rising sign in one or the other sign on the border of your cusp. I have a Libra/Scorpio cusp friend. We argue this constantly. With her.. she has a Libra Rising.. so of COURSE her personality will be colored with Libra! The rising sign idicates the face you show to the world. The moon sign indicates how you emote. (I'm a Picses moon.. so that means I may beat the hell out of via the Aries.. but I'll feel REALLY bad about it afterward :) Then you need to see where the majority of your planets are. I've got my Moon, Mercury, Sun and Venus in my twelvth.. so all that energy is very clandestine, but it is there. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Ok.. WAKE up now.. LOL

Yes, I always noticed that in the song.... wonder if the opposite (as I am) is at all similar. Since my double Virgo is completely opposite on the chart from my Pisces rising, I think I often fight myself. I've heard the same thing about cusps, too, that you really fall one way or the other. I'm more into tarot than astrology, but I know how I tend to fit with certain signs and I usually ask a person's sign when we are meeting.
