I think I get the picture now. After looking at a bit more I'm aware of how to go about this properly. I'll be sure to go see a doctor about it sometime in the next week. The info many of you have given me here and the things I've found while doing a bit of research have really helped me understand what I can, should, and shouldn't do. Soon enough I'll be well on my way to making my life a little better. Thanks all. :)

i do have some experience wearing chastity devices for extended periods. longest was 56 days and asecond longest was 35 days. most of the time it is for periods of a few days to a week or two. i can tell you that keeping a chastity cage on for extended periods resulted in fewer and fewer erections and they became sorfter as well. initially you will get hard and even painful erections if it is a small or short cage. after a few days your body will ajust to the cage and erections tend to become just annoying. you know you cannot feel your cock and learn to stop touching yourself. the metal cages are far better since they cannot be squeezed to stimulate the cock as silicone ones can. hard plastic is the next choice and are also good for going throug metal detectors. also the silicone ones can be removed without opening the lock. use ones with round metal rings and fit as snuggly as possible around the cock and balls. i found the short cage much better to trian away the erections as well as reduce visibility under clothing. i had little problems hiding my cage. since most of the chastity involved an online Domme, i used a technique of putting the key in an out of the way location so i was not tempted to casually remove the cage, but could if a serious problem surfaced. start out wearing the cage a few hours at a time and keep lengthening the time period. as others have said use lots of lubricant and skin creams to reduce abrasions. as far as purchasing a chastity cage there are many on e-bay ar reasonable prices in the $25 to 50 range. ones ordered from China take up to several weeks to arrive while local site only a few days. good luck and let us know how it goes.
