It's not often that I run across music that's worth telling the world to check out.. But I happened across this bad ass old school punk band that cross pollinates genres between Punk, rock 'n roll, rockabilly, jazz big band, metal.. And the singer is some sort of an evil drag queen. The tunes are catchy and funny, well written. Love it.. And I'm thinking that you Will feel as cool as I do discovering a band that up and coming nobody knows.. They are called fiends & queens

I've really gotten into Russian chanson music, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_chanson especially Gregori Leps. Haven't a clue what they are singing about lol but I totally love the music.

Both my daughter's boyfriend and my nephew are in the band.

I haven't actually made it to a performance as when they were at the club in town, I think they were scheduled for 11:00PM which meant they wouldn't have been onstage until past midnight.

having had a listen, they are Greenday meets the Rocky Horror Show. They are ok.

I do love finding new music, and I can get really excited about it if they are really good. these may be a group that would have to grow on me a bit I think. thanks though for putting them here.
