ETA: But given what I've seen on the news lately, be prepared for a backlash of hatred from the women.
There is far too much real-life non-consensual BDSM happening in India and surrounding Muslim/Islamic countries.
Women are not accepted as equals and most of that comes from your religion(s) and social practice.
When your general society accepts equal rights for women and children, things might change.
