I think he's pointing out that you're using the "wrong" thread. For shame Lookie for SHAME!!!!

Sanity -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/28/2014 5:10:28 PM)

Nah, Nookie got it

I posted last week that the Seahawks are a second half team, I wasnt worried today ay halftime. I know them better than that

LiveSpark -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/28/2014 5:20:16 PM)

My bad then. Neither of these matter anyway because the Pats will take all. <smirks>

Geez Lookie I don't remember you being so accident prone. However sometimes the truth hurts doesn't it.

Sanity -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/28/2014 6:04:05 PM)

Pats are good but dont discount the Hawks, they seem to rise to the occasion

Ask Peyton Manning about that

LiveSpark -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/28/2014 6:07:05 PM)

I don't discount anyone, that would be foolish but Brady has been huge for us. Just call me queen of trashtalk. I majored in it at school.

Okay Sanity....you seem to know this kind of thing....You're clearly Mr football....I actually know very little about football....I'm one of those fellows who (for the first time ever) started watching mid season 2013...I picked up things quickly (I now know the whole first down/second down etc. thing works...I even now know interceptions and shit)....but I have to say (having become incredibly interested in 2013) that Peyton seemed a bit off in SB XLVIII...even...hurt/disoriented....so much so that I was concerned for his health/neck (not being a glory hound....seriously...he truly seemed hurt).

I became incredulous, watching all the ESPN/NFL cable things on his family...watching Archie (Dad) QB...running (1960's)...all the way...fucking dynasty shit...sometimes seemingly back entirely to the end zone and then....sending it right where it was supposed to go.....he was magic and...it seems....the apple didn't fall far from....

So....being a Hawks fan but....having absolutely no clue.....asking football peeps that actually have a clue.....

Can the Hawks do it?

(Again)?

Do we have a shot?

slvemike4u -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/29/2014 5:26:51 PM)

Shit yeah the Hawks can do it.
Whether or not they do is the question.
They would be favored in any possible future game going forward.

First this description of you makes you sound an awful lot like my Uncle Bob, the man who raised me. His dad was an insane New York Football Giants fan, but Uncle Bob was too busy getting a PhD (He was a "C" student), inventing shit to improve our (creature comforts) lot in life and teaching his students.

Some time - about five years - before he retired, I realized he was talking about the Giants, quite a bit and trying to engage me in those types of conversations. Obviously, I was jazzed. he had become his dad, finally.

Anyway, I don't think you can count any play-off team out, right now. Cliché it may be but it is true; everyone starts from scratch, now.

That said; I think I like what I'm seeing from Arizona, this year (Full disclosure: I have never been a huge Russel Wilson fan and canNOT be a Cam Newton fan because he went to the wrong school but neither of them are schlubs, either). I just get a strange, calm sense, when the redbirds are playing; like they have it all under control.

I think this could be "their" year.

Michael

The Cardinals?

Arent they the team, with someone from the local bowling league, filling in at quarterback?

slvemike4u -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/30/2014 7:47:56 AM)

The Cardinals, and their taxi squad QB,aren't making it past this weekend.
Not for nothing are they 5.5 dogs against a team with a losing record.

MrRodgers -> RE: To all you Rams fans...I just wanna say.... (12/30/2014 6:39:39 PM)

Probably Pats over GB or Seahawks. I like and think Brady is too good this year. He's found his guys.
