Usually I don't do goals for the new year, mainly because if/when I let them slide I feel badly. But I think this year I'm going to try again with just a few hopefully manageable ones.

Learning to let go of things, particularly about family stuff.

Quit smoking... again.

Be more social/less shy/more outgoing, perhaps even venture into the local BDSM scene because I want more friends.

What about you?

Same every year. Do my best in every aspect and if I can look back at the end of the year and say I gave everything a good go and did the right by the people close to me, then I'll have a good old Christmas at the end of the year.

Edited to add: no need for specific goals. Providing you manage the things that really matter, the bits and pieces of life will fall into place.

Mine is to get off my rear and start using all the fancy photography equipment I have accumulated over the last few years. To start another shot at the Milky Way.

I only have 1992 goals, but I'm hoping, if I get into enough games, I will have 2015 goals by this time, next year.

Since you can't handle 2015, how about 4 goals?

Dang I'm feeling feisty today.

Actually yes it does all sound attainable, maybe not all in one day but definitely within one year!

Hmmm. I'm going to build my businesses that I own, and buy one of my businesses back from my partners, and get all of those stabilized, and bringing in money. I'd like to earn about $120k in 2015.

I'd also like to travel to a different place at least once a month. In Jan, I'll start it in Memphis, then Feb, heading to Virginia Beach. No further plans, yet. *smiles* Had planned Barcelona for three months, but that money is buying back my app business. Boo! So that's a goal for 2016.

Pretty much everything else in my life is effing awesome, so only financial-type goals for me this year.

Oh, and to not fuck up the rest. LOL!

*smiles*

I love New Year's resolutions. I definitely have some goals.

1. I want to try to remember to send cards for birthdays in my family. Nobody does anymore, but I still think it's nice. But I've gotten out of the habit.

2. I want to learn to cook scrumptious, sinful, decadent Paleo meals so that the next round of winter holidays don't have me off the rails and craving bad food just because I want to indulge.

3. We're getting married this year. (And we will no longer be on separate continents!) So I suppose having a meaningful and fun day for that is really at the top of my list of goals.

~~Happy~~
