She woke up with a splitting headache. She began to roll over and realized that she was on a bed. Everything seemed hazy, and she couldn’t figure out where she was. As she opened her eyes, she saw the face of a man she had never seen before. Suddenly the pain in her head doubled, and she reached up her hand to clutch where the pain seemed to be the worst. As her hand touched her head, she felt something wet and sticky, and when she examined the cause, she found that it was blood.

“W-what happened?”

“Miss Fairen? My name is Luke Engle. You have been involved in an incident. Mr. Rice is trying to take care of the situation. Do you remember what happened?”

Her head was reeling. She hardly remembered who Mr. Rice was. He had called her for an interview at Littleton High School. She remembered that. Slowly, the last several months came back to her.

It was near the end of the first quarter, and things had been going well in her classes. As a first-year teacher, she was always trying to prove herself, and she worked long hours planning lessons and grading papers. She enjoyed her students, and was known to be tough but fair.

One day in her favorite class, a young man by the name of Trey asked her, “Miss Fairen, would you hang out with me outside of school?”

She was completely taken aback by this but responded, “No, Trey, that would be highly inappropriate.”

A few days later Trey asked, “Miss Fairen, if I had a flying horse, would you come hang out with me?”

She laughed at the idea of her student ever owning a flying horse and said,” Trey, if you had a flying horse, I might actually hang out with you.” She knew he would never actually obtain such a creature and figured this response couldn’t hurt anything.

It didn’t take long before Trey started with new questions. “Miss Fairen, my parents are going to be out of town on Wednesday. I have to take a friend home that night, but would you want to come over around nine?”

She laughed and said, “Now, Trey, you know that is never going to happen.”

Trey just laughed along with her and didn’t say anything else. Two days later the class was working on the computers in the library when Trey asked, “Miss Fairen, do you like apricots?”

“No, actually I don’t.”

“What about oranges, do you like oranges?”

“I do like oranges.”

“Okay, I’ll make sure I get some oranges for tonight. Now I have to take my friend home tonight, but I should be back by nine, so you can come over about then.”

“Trey, you know I’m never going to come over to your house.”

“You mean you’re breaking our date?”

“I can’t break a date that I never agreed to, Trey.”

After this silly exchange, Trey shouted to the whole class, and consequently everyone in the library, “How many of you heard Miss Fairen agree to go out with me?”

To her astonishment and horror, about half of the class raised their hands and shouted that they had heard her agree to date this student. Very loudly, so that the entire library could hear her, she told Trey, “You know I would never agree to that, Trey. Now, get back to work.”

The next day in class, Trey said to her, “Miss Fairen, I waited up until midnight for you last night, but you never showed up!”

She was getting a little sick of this joke now, as she was afraid that someone who had been in the library might go to the administration and say that she was dating a student. “I never agreed to come over, Trey, and you know that I wouldn’t do that. It would be very inappropriate. Besides, I go to bed at nine, so there is no way that I would have shown up.”

Later during the class period, someone brought up the local haunted house that the Drama Club (which she was the sponsor of) was supposed to be going to the following week. Craig, the Drama Club president, was in this class, so she asked if he had figured out which day the club was supposed to be going. Trey heard her ask this question and very loudly stated, “You mean you’ll go out with him, but you won’t go out with me?”

She simply responded that she wasn’t going out with any students and that Craig was helping plan an activity for the Drama Club.

The next day, Trey said, “Miss Fairen, I know that I’m eventually going to get you to agree to go out with me.”

“Keep dreaming, Trey,” was all that she replied, but Trey responded, “Oh, I will.”

For the next week, Trey kept at it by asking if he could take her to different restaurants or movies. She always told him no, that it was inappropriate, and that it would never happen. On one of these occasions, Trey said, “You are giving everyone the wrong impression, Miss Fairen. They are all hearing you say no, but to me you are screaming, ‘YES!’”

She couldn’t help but laugh, but she also realized that the entire class took this comment the way all teenagers would. She was mortified that now students might go around saying not only was Trey trying to get her to date him, but he was talking about sleeping with her!

She continued to respond to the situation in the same way. That week, the school held parent/teacher conferences. When Trey’s parents came in, she discussed the situation with them.

“Trey is your son? He has been trying to date me.”

She was shocked by the response his parents gave her. “Not until he graduates, please.” What kind of parent would condone his behavior and accept that their child’s teacher might date him after he graduates high school?” She wasn’t happy with this reaction, so she explained a little more of what was going on in the class.

The next day, Trey came in and told her that his parents came home and told him to stop asking her out. She said, “Well, they have a point.”

“I’m not going to stop until you agree.”

She ignored him this time and got started with the class. She was beginning to worry that things were going way too far, and she feared that this could end up with negative consequences. Still, she liked Trey as a student, and she didn’t want to get him into any trouble. As long as things stayed light-hearted and without any substance, she didn’t know if the joke, though it was getting old, could cause any real harm.

Thursday that week was a half day, and she went out to lunch with a fellow teacher to a local restaurant. When they walked in, she saw a group of her students having lunch. She waved hello and chose a table as far from them as possible. After all, this was her personal time, and she didn’t want to be bothered by her students. About ten minutes later, Trey walked in the door and headed straight for her table. She wasn’t very happy about this.

“Hi, Miss Fairen. I got a tip that you were here. Have you changed your mind yet?”

“No, Trey.”

“Are you ever going to change your mind?”

“No.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. Now you should go talk to your friends and let me eat my lunch.”

She assumed that Trey was on his way to eat lunch with the group she had first seen in the restaurant. He got up and walked over to their table, and she sighed with relief. Then she explained to Miss Tersley what had been going on with Trey. Miss Tersley, who was the same age as her, said that she had a couple of students doing the same thing in her classes, but it hadn’t gotten quite as bad as her situation.

Less than two minutes after he had walked away, Trey said goodbye to her and headed out the door. It was like a rock had dropped into the pit of her stomach. She had assumed wrong. Trey really had only shown up because she was there. She knew that he had crossed a line, and she was worried about how she was going to handle this situation in class next week. The jokes had to stop now. There was no question in her mind that Trey had finally taken things too far.

That night, she went to the grocery store to get that month’s food. As she was checking out, Trey showed up in the next lane over. He kind of smiled and said hello, but he didn’t say anything else. She was grateful that he hadn’t tried to carry his joke into another public place that day, and she hoped that her response at the restaurant may have been enough to get him to realize that the joke was no longer funny.

The next day was the Drama Club trip to Butcher’s Hollow. Only two of the drama students ended up being able to make it, but they joined with the band and had a nice sized group. They headed out on the bus, and she had a wonderful time talking with the two band directors and several of the students she had in class. They arrived at the haunted house and got in line to buy tickets. She wasn’t planning to go into the haunted house, so she stood to the side of the line as her students move through. As she glanced down the line, she did a double take. At the end was Trey. He saw her look over at him and said hello.

“I can’t go anywhere anymore without seeing you, can I?”

“I heard the Drama Club was going to be here tonight, so I knew I’d see you, and yesterday Derek called me to tell me where you were eating lunch.”

“I know Derek called you, and I’ve already yelled at him for it. Now, who told you I was at the store last night?”

“Oh, that was just luck.”

She rolled her eyes and turned away. She sat by the camp fire outside the haunted house waiting for all of the students to go through. Trey stood with a group of students about ten feet from the fire, but he maintained a position where he was able to look over at her regularly. She decided to ignore him and spent the evening talking with the other adults who went on the trip. She was relieved at the end of the night when Trey got in his own car and left without having spoken to her since he was in line. She went home that night hoping that he finally got the hint, and she wouldn’t have to talk to him about his inappropriate behavior after all.

She didn’t think about Trey for the rest of the weekend. She spent time playing with her sister’s little girls and grading papers, and she didn’t even give a thought to what had happened in the last two days.

When Monday came, she was well-rested and feeling happy. She was in a wonderful mood until fourth hour when Trey announced to the entire class that he’d had lunch with her on Thursday, gone shopping with her that night, and that they’d gone to the haunted house together on Friday. She was beside herself. It was time to have the dreaded talk with Trey, expressing that he was no longer funny and needed to knock off these ridiculous comments.

She let the class leave early for lunch like she usually did, but she asked Trey to stay behind.

“Trey, I really need for you to knock off all of the jokes about dating me. I’ll admit that even I thought it was funny in the beginning, but on Thursday when you showed up while I was having lunch and started going on about it again, you crossed a line. If anyone were to take you seriously, it could cost me my job. Not only that, but seeking me out in public is an invasion of my personal space, and it was not ok. Please just stop joking about it and making comments. I don’t want you to think you are in trouble, and I’m not angry with you, but you have gotten to a point where it is borderline harassment, and I really don’t want to get the administration involved.”

“Okay. Can I go now?” was all he said.

Trey had looked very hurt and upset, but she knew that he was a resilient kid and would get over it soon enough. She ate lunch in her classroom like she usually did, and she became busy grading papers. She only paused when the janitors came in to sweep the room, and she talked to them like she usually did. Then she got back to work.

She hadn’t heard someone come in until the door shut. She looked up, and Trey was standing there. He didn’t look upset as he did earlier, but there was a fire in his eyes that she had never seen before.

“Can I help you with something, Trey?”

“Yeah. I’m not happy about what you said earlier. I haven’t been joking, Miss Fairen. I really do want to go out with you, and I know you want to date me, too. You just won’t admit it because you are too worried about your job!”

She got up from her desk and walked toward Trey. “Trey, I was serious in what I said, and I really don’t want to hurt your feelings, but I’m not interested in dating you or any other student. This is inappropriate. I’m sorry if I have done anything to give you the wrong impression, but all I’ve ever told you is no, as I am doing now. You need to get to class. I won’t discuss this further.”

As she turned to go back to her desk, Trey grabbed her arm. “You aren’t going to deny me that easily, Miss Fairen. You can’t lie to me anymore. I know you want me, and I’ll prove it!”

Trey pulled her to him and tried to kiss her. She turned her head and tried to push him away. He grasped her other hand and slammed her against the chalkboard. Grabbing both of her wrists with one hand, he clutched her jaw with the other. He turned her face to him and kissed her mouth harshly. She couldn’t move, couldn’t do anything but let it happen. He kissed her long and hard, assaulting her with his tongue. He was much bigger than her, and she was completely incapable of pushing him away. He held her there, then as he continued to kiss her, let go of her face and moved his hand down to her breast, squeezing it roughly, groping her. She was helpless against him, and while she struggled to break free, he was simply too strong for her to go anywhere.

He pulled her shirt and bra up freeing her breasts and then reached his hand down away from her. He withdrew a pocket knife and opened it, pressing it against her neck. He broke the kiss and stared at her hard, that fire still in his eyes.

“One sound, and I’ll slit your throat. You understand?”

She nodded, tears of fear filling her eyes. He bent down and began sucking on one of her breasts. She was helpless against him, and she began getting wet in spite of herself. It felt so good the way his tongue flicked over her nipples, and she was afraid of the pleasure she was feeling. He released her hands from above her head and moved his hand down between her legs, the other hand still holding the knife at her throat.

He lifted up her skirt and slipped his hand down inside her panties down to her very essence.

“Mmmm, so wet for me, aren’t you. I knew you wanted me,” he whispered.

He slipped a finger inside her and started moving it in and out, making her even wetter.

“I’m going to make you come, Miss Fairen. I’m going to make you say my name.”

He began fingering her harder, pushing deep, rubbing his palm on her clit, and she moaned in spite of herself.

“That’s a good girl. You like that, don’t you. Mmm, you are so tight. I can’t wait to be inside you.”

With that he withdrew his hand and spun her around, keeping the knife at her throat. He walked her over to her desk and bent her over, holding her face there so she couldn’t move. She heard the zipper of his pants, and feared what would happen next. She felt him pull down her panties and pull her skirt up over her ass.

“Mmm, such a lovely, smooth ass.”

He smacked it hard, leaving his hand print behind, and she whimpered quietly. He smacked her again on the other cheek then pushed her legs apart a little with his feet. She felt him pressing himself against her, running his erection over her most intimate area. Suddenly and without warning, he shoved into her hard, deep, as far as he could. She gasped and whimpered again, feeling him fill her. Then he started moving, hard fast, deep. Taking all of her. In and out, taking her body, making her his, and she was helpless to stop him. He fucked her harder and harder, grabbing her hip for leverage.

He reached down and began rubbing her clit as he pounded her, his other hand still holding her face against the desk.

“Come for me, bitch!” he half shouted at her. “Come for me now, and don’t make me tell you twice.”

In spite of herself, unable to hold back, she came hard, feeling her juices run down her legs, feeling his cock still pounding into her hard and fast against her spasming muscles.

“Say my name, bitch!”

“Oh Trey!” she cried out, unable to stop herself, not knowing where she was or what was happening, knowing only the best orgasm of her life.

At the sound of his name, he came hard inside her, releasing his hot load, and pushed deep not moving, holding her against him.

As soon as he was done coming, he released her, zipped up his pants and turned to walk away. She was ready to scream. She was crying, though didn’t know when. She let out a loud cry, and he walked back over to her, punching her temple, and she fell into blackness, waking later on a bed in the nurse’s office, and beside herself as this man she didn’t know asked her again if she remembered what happened.
