OMG was this article hilarious!!

There can't be any way Scalise didn't know who he was speaking to. I'm not going to say he's a white supremacist, but even if he was simply scraping the bottom of the barrel for every vote he could muster, it's a shame.

While there isn't anything illegal about speaking at a white supremacist convention, I sure do hope he does the honorable thing and steps down and fades into the background.

ETA: Just to be clear, the "hilarious" description of the article was praise for the way it was written.

Well there was a huge hoo haa made about obama palling around with terrorists(ayers) even tho he was only a toddler/child when ayers was a "terrorist"
Seems only right to bitch slap him a little bit.... schadenfreude is a thing for a reason:)
While im happy to see white supremacists getting their shit pulled out of the cobwebs, and that he is third most "important"( LOL ) republican in the house is making lots of people feel uncomfy.

I'm not sure I can go along with that bullshit.....anyone who believes in the supremacy of one race over another has a few screws loose and isn't worth anything but my condemnation.

Racism already has plenty of hate. Perhaps racism's hate is causing the flourishing my hatred of racism.

I'm not going to apologize for honestly believing that we are all created equal, regardless of our skin color. And, I'm also not going to be ashamed to fully support Martin Luther King's idea that people should be judged by the "content of their character" and not by their skin color.

I'll continue to hate racism for the despicable action it is.

That is a confusing outlook. Talking about the evils of white supremacy doesn't help white supremacy flourish. Hate is a strong emotion and should only used carefully in the right places. White supremacy deserves our disgust and hatred and the more we take a stand and show that hatred, the more we can push the WS underground.

But he did NOT speak a white supremacist convention.

So he booked and paid for the room and addressed them but has no affiliation. Sounds legit.
