It's OK. My first post was a disaster and I had a few double posts and one cut and paste spell check problem. Congrats, you are human.[:D](BTW, the administrator will remove the double post.)

You can see how many posts I got now. If you can't any one of the people fixated on it can tell you. Right, sleet?

londonswitch -> RE: Board Babysitters? (4/13/2004 8:37:23 AM)

I am purposely replying to this before reading the many responses made before mine. And this post is all about me. My response to my view of this.

I agree that the 'thread police' can leap in too much. I've felt this way for a month. Selfishly, several times I did not contribute to threads because the comment ran along the lines of 'this is repetetive nonsense, heard before'. Selfishly again, I did nothing about it because my job is hurting at present and draining my personal resources.

I am concerned that in trying make a lean, mean, troll fighting machine out of us that we are chilling and closing down the tender and fainthearted amongst us.

I've interesting experience in this BDSM field to share, but practically none of communicating it online and ceratinly low confidence in communicating it.

Anyway, less about me. IMHO, this community is fast growing: people moving into here all the time. There must be repetition and iteration if someone like me is to contribute. Please be patient and help people take the steps others have taken before: give the beneift of the doubt, a quiet thank you or no response would often do, wouldn't it?

londonswitch -> RE: Board Babysitters? (4/13/2004 8:47:29 AM)

And now I've read the thread after the first post. OK all, when you have me for breakfast would that be with tea or coffee?

*laugh*

I don't have the time to get the examples I have in mind. And would be dubious in a public arena on making it clear which ones I found so chilling. When I do reclaim my time, I will mail people who made me feel this way to explain in person.

I am not tender or feint/faint hearted, but there are those with some great ideas and great experiences to share, and they won't because they are just a bit intimidated and/or overwhelmed. Which brings me to quote #2:

Coffee, I think.

Coffee served in a large, uncomfortably warm, smooth bottomed carafe, placed on the small of your back, while I eat a slightly runny, very hot omlet off your buttocks with AN EXCEDINGLY SHARP FORK!!!

(did I say that out loud? Oops.)

I agree with Pro Domme
if you dont like sumthing
wrote by sumone, ignore
it and dont read it because
just as sure as shit stinks
there is sumone whom likes
a trolls post and for that one
person the post here is a good
thing. so to each their own.
you dont like sumthing posted
ignore it, especially the subs
whom think it their duty to rebuttle
Dominants. this just shows bad
taste with in Our Lifestyles ways.
MOD n MODII know how to do their
jobs and do it just fine with out any
help from the peanut factory. And
I have no doubt when They can no
longer handle it will bring on a MODIII.
