you'll still be giving it a ffs in years to come, because it never gets any better no matter what your profile says. even if it starts with NOT LOOKING, don't ask because the answer is no. You'll still get some idiot that proceeds to send you some cut and paste drivel that he thinks is so important. of course they are just that special that it doesn't matter that they don't even fit what you would be looking for, because you'll change just for them!

the best thing you can do is just ignore them, or when the mood takes you, as it does with me occasionally, toy nasty with them. they don't like it, whinge like bitches, and suddenly you are not the bestest of the most best any more, but a fat ugly fake that no-one will ever want lol

I don't understand being upset, to me someone asking for more information means they want to get to know me. No matter how detailed a profile is, there is still a lot unsaid.

If I've zero interest I either tell them that or ignore if they've pestered me.

1) I don't like you already, just from this insight into your personality
2) Glanced at your profile and journal -- it says very little about you.

Maybe just tell people you aren't really interested. Or just don't read your mail. Or hide your profile so that can't find you in the first place.

Real people -- since "real" seems so important for you to stress -- get to know each other. They chat.

Try it. It can be fun. So can actually meeting real people.

I think what's bothering you is not their neediness but their laziness. It is tiresome for people to contact you with nothing more than "hi" or "tell me about yourself" because they are expecting you to do all the work and start the conversation.

We just came THAT close to needing to replace my laptop. Thankfully I did not spray the mouthful of coffee all over the screen - literally not figuratively as so many claim. Bravo Kana you win the internetz.
