There was this Irishman who was afraid to fly and had always wanted to go to America. He was praying to God intently one night when God suddenly appeared at his bedside and said I heard your prayer my son. "God" said the man, "would it be possible for you to build me a bridge to America so's I don't have to fly?" "Well said God, "It's a very difficult thing, tides to consider, huge waves, engineering stresses, all kinds of things to consider!" "Let me get back to you tommorrow night so I can think about it for a bit." "Thankyou God, " says the Irishman. The next night as he's saying his prayers God again appears to the Irishman. "Hello God did you think about building that bridge to America for me?" "Well, says God, it's just too difficult! Could you pick something else that I could do for you?" The Irishman thinks for a bit and says "Yes God, there is one thing!" "And what is that my son," says God. "Well, I'd like to know how a woman thinks, how she feels, what motivates her that type of thing" says the Irishman. "Ok, I'll let you know tommorrow night when you're praying while I give it some thought" says God. The next night God appears again to the Irishman; "God! So can you tell me how a woman thinks, what goes through her mind" says the Irishman. Says God, "Would you like lights on that bridge?"
