The irony is that most women feel intense arousal just before and during their periods. We are taught from childhood that it's a 'dirty' time so breaking through THAT barrier is a tough one. Although I did and have no issue with all other activities should my Dom wish it...oral would be a truly challenging adventure for me because we don't feel fresh and clean during that time. All other activities, however, really do alleviate the discomfort factor involved with having a period. It's not for me but I applaud anyone's desires and abilities to enjoy one another in any way they deem necessary. To each their own, I'd submit to it if instructed to, but my preference is firmly avoidance of oral during a period.

We still have the down effects of that, pads and tampons are dirty, should not be mentioned (having been until mid last century) and everything to do with menstruation is filthy. We feel filthy while having it, apparently. Whether anyone wants to go down on someone who bleeds is of course their choice, but I see no reason that it should not be in the film (whether oral or removing a tampon) other than being puritan about it. It is a free choice to watch it or not.

They want the movie to be a success and many people, I for once included would not go see it with that scene in it. Yea the die hard fans will but the movie needs more then just the die hard fans
