Im crafty, sorta
Right now beading is my drug of choice, well nothing fancy, just earrings, bracelets, anklets, pendants etc. Most of it is pewter, leather, gunmetal,beadsof every sort of colour and design I would love to get into doing silver, but I neither have the time or the zest to go for it.
Im also into making my own undies, ALtho progress is slow, I have some lovely satins leather and lace to decorate bras and panties I make..I do it because I am a fatchick and I like lingerie(hence the corset shop) When I have some time, I plan on decorating my corsets to my desires, I have no talent sewing corsets, and REAL sewing is more of a chore now than it used to be
As far as knitting or crocheting, I learned many years ago, but just doesnt hold my attention.
I have boxes and boxes of beads and findings, another huge box for basic crafts, I decorate my own "hallmark"programme cards.
When I started the BDSM interest, I got "kinkycrafts" and made several of their toys. and got into making chainmaille jewelery and bdsm related jewelery.
When inspiration hits me, thats what I do, but I have a bazillion plans and how to's and tutorials
There is just not time enough in a year anymore

The hobbies I enjoy in my spare time are playing the piano, learning how to use pin striping brushes for cars, making pinup clothing, reading, and restoring a 1951 Studabaker wagon. Welding new floor pans in the car has been my nemesis of late.

maybe try to find a knitting meet-up nearby and have someone there show you how to knit?.. I learned as a child from my mother, the European way to knit which allows you to control the tension and is very fast once you get the hang of it. When I was a kid a Home Ec teacher tried to teach me to knit the North American way and I refused as it was slow and stupid to knit that way when I knew how to knit the smart fast way. I even taught my schoolmates how over my teacher's objections.. lol

I have done welding too but you need a shop and equipment for that.. (sigh)

I tried learning from YouTube. I was getting frustrated because I simply couldn't understand, until I realized I was watching a right-handed tutorial and I'm left handed. Found left-handed ones and figured things out better. But ran into the problem of losing count and switching up tension, so nothing ever came out great.
I do think learning from a person would probably help.

Status: offline 		I buy books at a rate of two to one bought and read so I'm running out of space. I swim and spend a lot of time looking out of the window watching birds. I'm a big fan of dogs so watch them too. Today, I've picked a shopping list off the floor when having a beer and have deduced it's a woman's list and I'm fascinated by this because within the list she has: "pot noodles, food". Clearly she has deduced that pot noodles isn't food but still wants to eat it/them/thing. I buy paintings, usually of places, and take photographs of places. I take care of my Mam make sure she's alright, and work as an accountant. I have I
investments so manage them to make sure my future is safe. If I'm being honest I have to stop myself from appreciating tits: there isn't a person who has ever walked this planet who appreciates tits more than me but I know it's wrong to stare and so it's a constant battle between reason and instinct, and at this juncture I am just about keeping my head above water in terms of not taking liberties. I go to bed at night and sleep for nigh on 8 hours a go and I don't really have any annoying habits such as leaving socks lying around, except I do retire the toilet and read WW1 books for a few hours and expect to not be disturbed.

Status: offline 		I paint old furniture. Not fine antiques, but older furniture that's in good shape, but with finishes beyond repair. I sell pieces mainly to friends and by word of mouth, but I do have a blog and I'm going to have a little "boutique" in a small local antique store this summer.

I also knit and collect/sell vintage silver and crystal.

Status: offline 		I do a lot of different things in my spare time but speaking in a crafty way, I work on my drawings and paintings done in charcoal and watercolor. I don't sell any of it, it's just what I do for myself with the exception of doing some of the artwork for Master's business.

Status: offline 		My specialty is collecting equipment for expensive hobbies… I've a 40D…a 7D…a 5D mark III…thousands and thousands in L lens…hundreds more in filters of all kinds… the very best of course…tripods and heads galore… lighting systems and wireless triggers… now all I have to do is use them…lol

I will some day really… but in the mean time I am very good with CC and make a few bucks from other photographers that actually use their gear… Let me know if you need some retouching…for friends it is free.

PS... I have found and believe it may be part of the brains of lifestylers that most are artistic in some way... More so than I have found in the vanilla world.

Status: offline 		It's funny...when I took up knitting 25-26 yrs ago, my mom thought I'd never stick with it because friends and family would tease me about it being unmanly. I have a picture of an old Irish sailor sitting and knitting his own sweater. The rugged looks of that guy usually shuts them up in the few cases where someone has said something...but oddly enough, it doesn't happen too often.

Some Batman related things I made in Ceramics. The Joker bowl says on the outside "WHY SO SERIOUS?" The bowl is ice cream bowl size.
Then a (kind of) deep dish Harley Quinn plate.
That's just two of the maybe 30 ceramic things I have.

Selling my stuff? I've tried to, but I've kind of just given up on that, and have just been giving it out whenever I get the chance to.

But I'm into ceramics, photography, drawing...

(messed up desk bought off craigslist is messed up)

Status: offline 		I used to be a full time professional artist, and still paint. I've recently taken up the medium of Pastels, which I am liking. I have something coming up pretty soon that will be featured for a charity, which I wasn't expecting, so that is really nice

I am also rather in to photography which was really a side line of the art work, because it was better that I worked from my own photos. now I have a good dslr, and I like the actually photography as much as the painting. It does mean though that I have plenty of my own reference stock.

I set out doing some writing, but it's got stuck. I do write poetry though. my last one turned out to be quite foretelling

Status: offline 		I've always been crafty/artistic and I do the usual knitting, bead knitting, painting (oils and soft pastels are my favorite mediums). But recently, I've taken up building model boats. They are built exactly like the full size boats, one plank at a time, only waaaay smaller. I'm currently working on a 15' Dark Harbor sailboat that is at a scale of 1"= 1'. Fun and frustrating at the same time.

Would love to actually, thanks for the gracious offer. Once I get my business stuff organized and to the stage of "turnkey" I can devote time better to other interests. Thankfully my to do list finally got shorter in the last two months but still waiting on other people to do their jobs. When it's other people who are the ones lagging I get nervous so just staying put and anticipating yet another "issue" I may have to fix, LOL. I don't like to greenlight projects without crossing all T's and dotting all I's so I can go full throttle all at once.
