ORIGINAL: Redhusky http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2935256/New-Rochelle-cop-pulls-gun-teens-having-snowball-fight.html Lol Since when is snowball a weapon of crime ? I was driving to a service call one day and there were a group of kids walking down the street. The car in front of me had the unfortunate luck of being the target of a snowball attack. One kid hurled a snowball and as fate would have it, the driver of the car had his window open. It hit the driver in the face, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a telephone pole. He was seriously injured and was carted off to the hospital, of course the kids didn't stick around to admit their stupidity. The police never caught the kids. The snowball was an instrument of crime. I did not read the article, just the thread responses. Frankly, a cop drawing a gun on kids might be a little extreme for my liking, however, if the cop prevented one serious accident, and no one was injured by the police officer, then the cop did his job. Let me reiterate for the cheap seats that the cop drawing his gun may have been a bit much, but no one was hurt, that is not saying that it was fully justified, but snowballs with rocks or ice balls can seriously injure a person. If you have any questions about how badly someone can be hurt, I am volunteering my time to hurl snowballs, ice balls and or snowballs with rocks in them at your face to see if you get hurt.
