I can call a restaurant and.....food eventually arrives. Why can't I have microwave food that just......"is"? It's there. (I don't understand....why doesn't food just appear?).

Okay...I'm gonna let this one simmer because I feel like there's a bit of an (odd) quandary here (I don't see one but...)... Seriously....why doesn't food just appear....when I come home? (I seriously don't think that's too much to ask).
