While this does not directly concern me, I was just driven to wonder (from the profiles of some littles on here) whether Littles should qualify as a separate category or orientation on CM / CSP / whatever we have chosen to call her these days. I believe Littles dont exactly identify themselves as a submissive, and probably even much less so as a slave, so it can be misleading and leave wrong impressions on a potentially great match. How do you reflect on this, ladies and gentlemen?

Cm is unlikely to ever change it's layout so you pick a box and fill in the "why the box is inaccurate" in your profile. No matter what they offer there will always be ways people don't fit into the box (most people are round).

hmm i think i agree with you there. there are really so many types of "us" that even adding a couple of categories would barely do justice. thanks for your opinion.

Yeah...but this is a BDSM site not just a fetish or kinky site. one thing I have noticed since joining this site is that, while there is a DEFINATE, crossover there is a definate difference between people who identify as "littles"-adults that enjoy childish pursuits, TV shows..and those that are a subset of "submissives" in that they, in their ADULT persona, want the affection, discipline, care..that goes with the DD/lg . As a BDSM site...the thought is that we are all here as tops/bottoms, masters/slaves, doms/subs. Most littles who are interested in BDSM and have landed here DO identify as subs (they may want a parent to child dynamic ) but they never want to be the top or the master or the dom...so from our standpoint, if you are a little and on a BDSM site, you are probably a bottom or a slave or a sub...

I'm a little, and I would only follow someones lead in agreed upon areas, outside that, try to tell me what to do and it aint happening. And yes, I DO want to, and quite frequently boss Daddy about. Yep I'm a little, and have had sub daddies, and i have a sub big brother. Most of the Littles I've known were more switches but those are probably just the ones I hang out with.

Site is unlikely to change. But I agree that many of the littles I know are switches and it's not at all uncommon for them to be tops.

it was enlightening to know that dominant littles exist. i believe the mind (who am i kidding? my mind) is bogged down by the vulnerability and clinginess of a little which we do not associate with a (level-minded and genuine) dominant. it was eye-opening to know that exceptions exist. thank you all. one lives and learns.

As a little I'm still naturally submissive. Being a "good girl" and wanting to please my Daddy are naturally there. But I also identify as a submissive. I do not like to be in little space during sexual acts and just become my role as a submissive or if I meet a Dom who interacts well with me and just isn't into ddlg... I can be a sub. I guess it's all perspective :) I would like more identifiers on the site, but sometimes just looking at the profile helps enough as well :)

When we first met over 20 years ago, both of us were in other relationships, but we had roughly the same job (both of us are prior military). The jobs required very dominant personalities, and although I still carry that in daily life, when I'm with him, I'm all sub. Our children are grown, so I get to play Daddy's little girl whenever the mood strikes.

I'm not surprised they don't have separate listing. I wish I could "check everything that applies" but I suppose there are so many options out there that it would be hard to include everyone. I've never met a little who also tops, so I learned something today. Personally I only identify as a little with the right energy.
