ResidentSadist -> RE: Any real people on this site? (2/15/2015 2:13:22 PM)

I met the girl who is my slave/wife on CollarMe.
The girl that was with me for 3 years before that, lived in Cali. Flew in for date and then moved in with me here in Florida.
The girl I was dating a year before that I met on CollarMe.
. . . so that's about 7 years worth of good relationships I found here at CollarMe.

I have also met many local friends, a few lovers and some casual play partners here online then hooked up with them in real life.

So, I would say you are doing something wrong. Perhaps it's your hidden profile or maybe your combative attitude? I know that if you lived in my town, I wouldn't want to meet you based on what you have displayed of yourself here on the forums.

Saying "any real people on this site?" implies that you think we are all fakes. Either you don't have the insight to understand your insult or this is troll bait and you crave the negative attention you are getting. Then when you do get negative attention, your ego is very fragile and you react like their opinion of you on the internet matters or effects your life? Spending you energy on destructive antisocial behavior instead of something constructive is a reflection of your emotional maturity, social and relationship skills.

But most of all, you are irresponsible and avoid accountability. Instead of asking "any real people on this site?" you could have asked "have you had success dating on this site?." This would have been an entirely different thread for if you had the skill and common sense to have done that instead. Posting that you think there is something wrong with all of us will not lead to your personal growth (or get you laid). . . and it does not make you look like good material for a relationship of any kind, casual, fuck buddy or LTR. So perhaps there is less wrong with us than you think if we have been smart enough to avoid getting involved with you all this time?

I have never met one single person from this site; had a couple of profiles over the years. In fact I don't think I've even talked to anybody. You can be exactly what someone describes they are looking for and send them a very detailed message only to hear nothing back "every" from anyone every time. There is an unlimited number of messages trying to get you to send money though.

Overall, this site is a pathetic waste of time full of scammers and fakes with 0 hope for anything real or sincere. If I ever loose my job I'll create a profile with photos of an attractive woman minus any view of the face and ask for 'tribute' before allowing any communication....seriously, what a joke!!!

Well, there's your problem.

Usually the people so quick to dismiss everyone as "fake" are the ones who start by messaging every profile that tickles their fancy. You already know there are an abundance of profiles with attractive pictures used to lure men in, so why are you dealing with them? Take your time, look for profiles that are actually worth a conversation rather than chase a cheap thrill.

There are plenty of people on the site who have found someone genuine, myself included.

Not a damned one.

smileforme50 -> RE: Any real people on this site? (2/15/2015 3:59:25 PM)

I've met quite a few great people through this and other websites.

The very first person I ever met in person I originally found him on alt.com. We chatted for 3-4 months and then met and were together for 10 years (in what eventually became a vanilla relationship. We broke up almost 5 years ago but we're still friendly.

I haven't met anyone else yet that has resulted in a serious LTR yet.....but I have found a LOT of great play partners, mentors and friends.

sexyred1 -> RE: Any real people on this site? (2/15/2015 4:11:33 PM)

I met a lot of men over the years with varying levels from intense hotness to blah.

None of them were Mr. Right, but they were real.

I also spoke to some people without meeting and they were great, but lived too far.

You have to keep your expectations low and your open attitude high.

Whining just makes you look like a schmuck.

I'm guessing that's not the kind of meeting you're talking about? You wanna get laid?

I have had a similar experience as did the OP, but, it's not for any other reason than lack of my profile appealing to others, I'm sure.

So, to give the OP some serious advice, as you did, your profile has to ATTRACT those you seek.
You're not my type (maybe, yesterday, on Valentines Day, we should have started a lonely hearts club?), but, trying to take a peek at your profile, it says "profile not found", so, I'm not sure what's up with that.

I will just have to assume it wasn't appealing to your target market, as mine isn't either.

But, maybe you're active in seeking out the profiles of those who interest you?

If you're not even receiving a belated thank you, I would have to assume you're emailing those 18 year old sirens who just can't get enough of older men. That won't work. They, for the most part, aren't real, so, your initial premise is true, for a certain (maybe huge) category of profiles here.

If you find a profile interesting, check out the stats. If she's a 5'4" waif at 110 pounds, it's very likely not to be real (although it could be, so, take all into account). If she's 18, it's almost certainly not real. Start thinking real at around 150 to 200 pound and maybe 30 to 50 in age.

There are other clues, such as last login time. If she hasn't logged in since 2005, then, well, you're not likely to be the one who is going to get her to suddenly gain interest in meeting someone on Collarspace, now are you?

Other clues are in their profile. If you're used to sending one-line messages, well, I don't know if that works or not, but, given that a good portion of the profiles here say 'don't bother to send me a one-line message', well then, that probably won't work for the bulk of the women here, don'tcha think?

Likewise wit not responding to something in her profile, which, I think, almost anyone would notice if you do read the entire profile. Be particularly aware that a particular trick the most clever of Dommes do here, is that they place in the last line of their profile description the commands of how you should address her. Miss that last line, and you've missed the boat.

There are more clues, but, that should get you started in the right direction.

This is bloody awesome
Thankyou!

Good luck.

Really? What bar are we talking about, fellow Pennsyltuckian? [:D]

I'm easily found in my neighboring environs or, I could be persuaded to travel, some.

I admit to not being as geographically savvy about this area as I am of some others in which I've lived. The NEPA valley is a bit confusing (especially when people insist they're going "up to Mountain Top" strictly because it's uphill when it is South of where I live).

Next time I'm up in Kingston, I'll need to check out this schlong that's such a local attraction!!

Charles6682 -> RE: Any real people on this site? (2/15/2015 7:22:30 PM)

There are certainly some real people on this site. I've met a few. Are there scammers and fakes? Well, there is. Those people stick out. Ignore and delete. I use to complain about all the "fakes" on Collarspace. I just thank the scammers for letting me know who they are, so I know to ignore them the next time.

SeekingTrinity -> RE: Any real people on this site? (2/15/2015 11:01:30 PM)

~FRing it~

I met the love of my life on this website. And trust me, he is very real. Not a scammer. Not a fake. Just a genuine all around good guy that I have a tremendously good time with.

And just does not realize how much the Bear is loved around here. I suspect she is in some kind of weird "Saw/Jigsaw" trap as we speak... the /s's around here can be dangerously protective.

Jus sayin

The irony to all this Tyrant is the OP failed to push a button that I broke a long time ago. Funny how insults are always aimed at a person's looks. Can't insult a person who never views themselves as good looking but simply average. ~heads back out to sand down a few more wrinkles~

thorneyone -> RE: Any real people on this site? (9/11/2015 5:16:27 AM)

Trying to entice someone to meet you, employ you, buy something from you etc etc, is a difficult business unless you have what the other wants.
If you are old, plain, inexperienced and too openly needful, you will deter people.
There are plenty of sincere people on CS, but you could take a lifetime finding the right one.
Luck plays a big part, so too does a liberal dollop of realism.

Actually, I've met several people from this site. And had a delightful time.

Perhaps you might consider changing your approach.

This thread is kind'a old, so, I didn't re-read all the posts to get caught up to speed, but I did read the last handful, and, the OP would be well advised that this rant is old here.

The women have no problem meeting men (they actually have a problem ignoring them, there are so many that assault them), so, they know there are real people here. For the women, in general, their problem is weeding out the fakes and flakes, as they call them. For them, it's not that the people aren't real - it's that they are, for the most part, either undesirable, fakes, or flakes.

Now to the men ...

For the men, at least for those looking for a lady, the first thing you have to realize is the ratio of men to women threads shows that, for the most part, real men are gonna outnumber the real women at a ratio that is something on the order of tens to hundreds, and, in some cases, to thousands to one (depending on the site). For here, it's at least 10 to 1, IMHO, but, estimates vary from as optimistic as 4 to 1, to as realistic as 10 or 100 to 1, to as pessimistic as Ashley Madison style ratios.

Add that horrid ratio, not at all in the OP's favor, to the fact that an astoundingly huge percentage of the female profiles are as fake as a three-dollar coin. The look great, mind you; but they're just commercial endeavors in a very pretty package. Or, they're pros (which I don't consider "real" women, in the spirit of the original question (pros are a dime a dozen and can be found anywhere in the world - but that's the topic of a different conversation).

So, the short answer is, "sure" there are real women here (I have met a half dozen myself), so, you can too.
You can do what I do, which is merely wait for them to come to you - or - you can do what most guys do - which is approach them.

Just don't do what SOME guys do, which is approach them with puerile sophomoric "wanna fuck" trash, as the women are on to us. They somehow, magically, figured out what we really want - and they all conspired via the pheromone pathway - to deny us the very thing we want most - just to keep us interested for a longer period of time!

:)

DarkSteven -> RE: Any real people on this site? (9/12/2015 9:13:45 AM)

I have a hard time counting the people on cs whom I've met off-site. I'd estimate about two dozen. Of course, all but two of them were meeting just as friends.

Talk with people and just enjoy the conversations.

HerDomANDHisSub -> RE: Any real people on this site? (9/23/2015 1:11:13 PM)

@NookieNotes has it spot on.
