Does anyone know what the Hairstyle is called that is a slaves hair pulled back and tied with a leather thong with a loop at the end. I have always called it a Hairdle (Hair Handle) but i know it has a formal name and there is history behing it.

Are you thinking of a queue? THat's the only thing I've heard it called, but that's also a chinese men's hairstyle which is a bit different...I dunno

I found a reference in the slaves of Gore called a Hair Leash. Where the hair was wetted, pulled to the back of the head but centered off the neck bound with a leather thong but a Loop was put at the end. It was used for control and correction. I have seen it done and a metal ring was put through the hair before it was finished so that the head could be held up right when the slave was bound.
I looked up queue and got several references but non of them fit. So I will keep looking and check back to see if anyone knows.

The Gorean term is leash. so you have answered your own questions, there are no hair "traditions" or "specifc names" in BDSM.
