I took a two-year course in baking and pastry. We were taught basic techniques, chocolate/sugar work, artisan bread making, cake decorating, among other things. TWO YEARS, I graduated at 21, and I'd hardly call myself "very experienced." I've yet to master certain aspects of the field, not because my education wasn't good, but because the field is so diverse and evolving.

You expect me to believe that this 21 year old mastered all aspects of BDSM and YOU mastered them in one day, simple from handling a few tools and spanking one of his partners? We're talking about techniques that can cause serious physical or psychological harm.

The greatest risk in my line of work can be treated with a first aid kit. You can send someone to the hospital or KILL them.

You are not as experienced as you think. Muster up some "self-discipline" and learn some more before trying to force religion on a live in sub.

I hate the ageism in BDSM- but you aren't doing us 20 somethings any favors.

Wouldn't you rather have a BROAD amount of learning done? Expand those horizons- this "master" is the only source you have? Find other perspectives.

Furthermore- go have a big slice of humble pie with Master Dick. Your dick isn't the biggest. You're not the best or most educated person in the world. You are not all that. You and all of us can ALL benefit from being open to other's opinions, constructive criticism, and a little humble pie.

Humble pie has no calories, so you can eat the whole damn thing...

Status: offline 		Fella, you already have a prejudice to overcome in that 18 year olds generally are not viewed as having the gravitas to be a Dominant. But you're sure not helping your cause. Here is what you did:

You met up with a self-described sub from craigslist. You told her to read a Christian document and she balked. You ascribed this to laziness when it could also be that:

1. She resented reading something Christian.
2. She does not like to read.
3. She didn't feel compelled to submit to you specifically.
4. She was deliberately bratting.

So, without determining what the cause was, you made a likely incorrect diagnosis. You then made a blanket statement that all submissives behaved identically to her based on a sample size of one.

My suggestions:

1. If something goes wrong, find out why.
2. Be very careful about generalizing about a large population based upon a small sample.
3. Before you post, anticipate what your responses will be, and try to ruffle as few feathers as possible.
