I grew up watching Star Trek. This makes me so sad.

I feel like my dad just died.

This one feels like a punch in the gut. An era has passed. Thank you Mister Nimoy for the great memories.

Some of my earliest memories of TV and some of my views about the world, today revolve around Star Trek.

Leonard Nimoy was a fine actor in his own right and never really got the chance to "spread his wings" after the original five year voyage.

Rest in peace, Mr. Nimoy.

Eye candy for the Leonard Lovers

Truly a sad loss and the birth of a icon which is know by alien name as "Spock" that has inspired and entertain many from childhood to present. The mother ship has called Mr. Nimoy home, but Spock will forever remain a beloved mystical being on the bridge of the star ship enterprise to share with the next generations.

I just heard about this.

RIP, Mr Nimoy. [:(]

Yeah.

Very sad.

I'm confident they have voluminous captures of him that they can weave in but....sad...very.

ResidentSadist -> RE: Live Long and Prosper Mr. Spock (2/27/2015 5:18:42 PM)

He will be missed. His Spock character was an icon. I also like seeing him drinking beer, playing darts, flipping the bird to a driver, eating food out of cartons in the store and watching Shatner on TV in Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song [ALTERNATE OFFICIAL VIDEO] all while strolling around in his robe.

Yes, he lived long...and prospered. A movie icon for all time.

So sad. Loved him when I was a kid and always will.

smileforme50 -> RE: Live Long and Prosper Mr. Spock (2/27/2015 7:38:06 PM)

I have to admit that I am not a sci-fi fan and in my younger days I HATED Star Trek. My father watched it when I was a kid and could never bear to sit there and watch it.

But in recent years I started to enjoy watching Nimoy and Shatner in other things ....which sent me back to Star Trek. I loved how they both have had such a sense of humor about Star Trek through their careers.

Spock was an icon and he will be missed. RIP Mr. Nimoy.
