My question today. If conservatives are terrorists for opposing liberal viewpoints, why can’t liberals be the same for opposing conservative viewpoints? http://news.yahoo.com/did-scott-walker-really-compare-liberal-protesters-terrorists-161419187.html “If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” Walker said in response to a question about his foreign policy experience. Democrats reacted swiftly. “If Scott Walker thinks that it's appropriate to compare working people speaking up for their rights to brutal terrorists, then he is even less qualified to be president than I thought,” wrote Mo Elleithee, communications director for the Democratic National Committee, moments after Walker spoke.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-ostroy/republican-terrorism_b_4060171.html “Consider this: a radical, militant organization commits threatening acts which place the United States on security lockdown. Or perhaps they hack into Wall Street's vast, intricate computer network, sending the stock markets and banking system into chaotic panic. Or they make hostile demands which, if not met, could bring down our financial system and the global economy. We'd unequivocally label these acts terrorism. So why shouldn't we consider the Republican Party's similar acts of extortion of the past week terrorism? “ http://www.businessinsider.com/debt-ceiling-republicans-obama-terrorist-hostage-deadline-2013-9 “White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer used three vivid analogies to attack House Republicans' laundry list of demands for raising the debt ceiling, comparing Republicans to arsonists, hostage-takers and suicide bombers.” http://www.politicususa.com/2013/10/05/republican-terrorists-exposed-traitors.html “Most Americans have experienced the sensation of being excited and celebratory at achieving a long sought-after goal, but have to temper their glee with disappointment that although successful, they failed to meet all of their expectations. Republicans have had a lot to rejoice over in the past week because they finally achieved their goal of shutting down the government to inflict harm on the people and economy, and convinced Senate Democrats to pass a GOP austerity budget with sequestration cuts in place allegedly to stave off the shutdown. From a conservative terrorist’s world view, there is much to celebrate and be excited about, but as pleased Republicans are, they are disappointed and angry they failed to prevent millions of Americans who likely have never had healthcare insurance from purchasing affordable plans when the Affordable Care Act exchanges went live on Tuesday.” To me differing political opinion is not terrorism. That is why we have a Republican form of Government.
