If you haven't done so recently, a physical would be good starting place. It can help you figure out specifically what your health goals are, as well as possibly uncover any underlying issues that affect weight. And be sure to mention to the doctor you are concerned about your weight so that they can run those extra tests or ask some more questions. Depression, PCOS, thyroid issues, birth control medications and more can all affect weight. Once you figure out what your specific health goals are, develop a plan. A plan to lower your cholesterol might be completely different than a plan to become more toned and sculpted, so making a health goal is important. Do you need to eat different foods (more vegetables, less processed for example)? Or is your diet fine, you just need to control portions a bit more and stop snacking between meals? Do you need motivation to get to the gym? Or do you need direction on what to actually do once you are there? Diets won't work if you hate most of the food you eat. My personal advice is to find small tweaks to the foods you currently eat, rather than forcing yourself to eat unappealing food. So if you drink soda every day for example, try swapping 2 or 3 sodas a week for a bottle of water. Or, have a bottle of water first and if you still feel thirsty after, then reach for the soda. Try cooking at home, making healthier versions of the foods you love. I love pizza, but I found some recipes for pizza with a cauliflower crust. It certainly tastes different, but with enough sauce and veggie toppings, I really don't mind the difference. And don't beat yourself up for going off track. There will be a night when your friends invite you out to dinner and the restaurant doesn't have anything that fits your diet. Prepare for it the best you can, but if something happens, it happens. The world will not end because you ate one cheeseburger. As for including your Master, a lot of that depends on your dynamic. How do you want to incorporate him? He could give punishments for you not reaching a certain goal, he could go to the gym with you, he could make a meal plan for you to follow, he could physically remove the snacks from your home and make you do things to earn them, etc. Best of luck!
