I'd vote for Zeke

I heard this, yesterday, on the radio. When it was over, the DJ said:

"That was Vice President Joe Biden, after hearing that Hillary had announced"

I almost drove the car into a telephone pole, laughing my ass off.

Not such a bad idea. Little Zeke manages to capture perfectly the levels of sophistication and maturity that characterise your posts and perspectives. I've no doubt that a meeting of his little mind and yours would be a meeting of equals. The two of you could immediately set about removing the petty childish traits that dominate so much of political discourse these days, a matter that preoccupies you greatly if your posts are anything to go by.

So, all up he could be a perfect representative of your political 'thinking' and position.

sanity, I actually read about that poster when I was looking at ken's most recent link.

the story behind it is here:

http://www.ijreview.com/2015/04/296124-street-artists-hit-time-hillary-square-crosshairs/

turns out theres a group called "Hillary Super Volunteers" and they have created a list of words they deem as "coded sexism" when used in reference to Hillary. "secretive" (believe it or not) is one of them.

quote:

New York Times reporter Amy Chozick outed the ‘sexism’ hit squad:

A group called HRC Super Volunteers just warned me "We will be watching, reading, listening and protesting coded sexism…" (1/2)

— Amy Chozick (@amychozick) March 25, 2015

2/2 Sexist words, they say, include "polarizing, calculating, disingenuous, insincere, ambitious, inevitable, entitled, over confident…"

— Amy Chozick (@amychozick) March 25, 2015

Also sexist, according to HRC Super Volunteers: "Secretive" and "will do anything to win, represents the past, out of touch…"

— Amy Chozick (@amychozick) March 25, 2015

"You are on notice that we will be watching, reading, listening and protesting coded sexism…" the email reads.

bounty44 -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 7:36:16 AM)

how incredibly ironic the premise of your post is, and your use of the word "childish" is, when the whole of your post is essentially "behavior unbecoming an adult."

LOL Zeke is a cutie. LOL Love what kids say.

He, at least to me, shows what many of the dems do when the left doesn't get its way

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 9:31:35 AM)

Except he is a tool of the right, exactly as you are a fucking tool.

Nah, they are laughing at the rightwing shiteating goons and thugs as they always do.

Sure, giggling and laughing like little girls on every one of these threads... [:D]

Moderator3 -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 10:15:19 AM)

Is this the Hillary's E-Mails thread or the go for the one you don't like or agree with thread?

We all know you all disagree and I'm sure that challenging one another to duels can be fun, but it gets a little old for others. More topic please. Challenge what someone says, you can even be feisty, but attacking/challenging just because you disagree wasn't what this section was created for. We wanted to allow more so that you all could be adults and political debate does cause disputes, but topics were not meant to be done away with.

Are people proving that adults talking politics or religion need to be monitored, moderated and banned because they cannot work a topic without going so far we have to reconsider what we want for the forum?

You don't have to hold hands and sing campfire songs, but really, personal wars, especially the same personal wars, need to be tempered. Block, ignore, move on, whatever you have to do to make sure your issues don't become the issues of others. The forum isn't going to be changed. You have Current Affairs and The Dungeon. Please figure it out.

Sanity -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 10:41:10 AM)

Is that directed at me?

I am not going after anyone, just making a casual observation that the people on the left seem awfully sour today, or wound awfully tight. Not meant as an attack in any way.

Is casual banter no longer allowed here?

And this was meant as light sarcasm, nothing hateful of personal.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 10:52:29 AM)

What else is there to do, its all conspiracy, slobbering, factlessness, foolishness and buffoonery from the idiots and thugs and goons on the right.

So far not one fact is addressed and any implications of those facts from the right.

We have 7 investigations among them the house intel and house armed services committees that say nothing wrong occurred (and they were republican majorities). Its like the 58 repeals of Obamacare, and it cannot be done, and when there are 55 investigations nothing will be found.

Yet not one investigation of the violation of the Logan Act by 47 Senators. Something that means something.

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 12:23:16 PM)

Otter It is ok to disagree with people but to continually use slurs lessens your voice. If you have facts about "goons" go to the district attorney. If there are thugs and you have proof go to the district attorney. But please stop the slurs.

Moderator3 -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/15/2015 12:32:35 PM)

Good god save me.

I work a lot of hours and that is nobodies problem but my own, but when I miss a friggin FR and people take it personally, it tends to be a problem. I hear about it on threads, in email and people madly try to get me to go to fet to hear about it there too.

NO. Just that simple.

I do not like one of you better than another. If at a moment like this, I was asked, I would say I don't like anyone or anything. [:D]

I am speaking to every single person on this thread that has taken a topic and made it a slam dunk of someone else simply because they always do and then the debate and people involved become the topic. I know you all know that over used rule well. Lets not go there.

We do still have topics and you can freely mention other topics and get feisty, but you cannot make a topic a feud between forum members... just asking a simple question that becomes the topic.

In general if it applies to you, really applies, then I could mean you. If anyone is having a hard time understanding that one and I am not clear enough, feel free to cmail me and when I get some time, I just might answer.

FR

Unaware of the fact that a number of my posts have followed a Sanity post, I must say, that for that I am sorry. I didn't see it as that and how it could be seen or perceived.

I am tired of the this member and that member battle that continues and THAT is what I am addressing here.

Knock it off, all of you.

Better?

Ja, I will give this every consideration it deserves.
