Hey I need to know what kind of place I can get my blood drawn. The blood isn't for a blood test, nor is it for donations. Any info can help thanx.

When Steve and me got our clear screening back we took a vile of each others blood and drank it with a shot of vodka.

I have a follow up question. How much blood loss is a fatal amount? I'm trying to avoid dying.

I guess I had an odd childhood. I could draw blood and do blood typing when I was eight. I can imagine the hissy fits modern schools would have with a fifth grader blood typing his class as a science fair project.

[:)] But that only seemed to take a finger stick, just as testing blood sugar does. I've only ever heard "blood draw" used in reference to finding a vein and filling at least a vial or two--or four or five, in my case. Then there's the joy of when they need arterial blood . . . .
