One of my favorite toe tappers for motivation is John McEuen's "Miner's Night Out" I was playing that one at work in the wee hours of the morning. Flash back to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band a bit and listen.

I really don't listen to much of the new stuff and the stuff I do hear that I like isn't usually identified for me. As a result, I have no idea who some of my current favorites are.

My "Old Faithfuls" are Judas Priest, Iron maiden, AC/DC, DIO, and really old (original members) KISS.

The only newer ones of which I'm aware are really "guilty pleasures" and I sha'n't name them, here.

I'm a Nick Cave fan. He has a range of styles depending on which of his bands he plays with. He's fantastic live too. All time favourite of his is Spell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd4Rl5TtrE0 but I also love his Murder Ballads.

Anything by Killing Joke (loved seeing these live), The Mission (great live), Seven Dust, She wants Revenge, Motorhead (again, brill live), Bauhaus, The Cure, Placebo (amazing live), and I have loads of old stuff that I listen too. Led Zeppelin is a massive fave
