also keeps the retards of south florida from running auto repair businesses out of their driveways, 50 people from living in one home and paving over their front lawns to accomodate all the cars... all issues proposed to our board. dont even get me started on the farm animals and alters people want to have. for us, the HOA is necessary or the neighborhood would turn into hialeah. we gladly pay.

LMAO Kitty, I guessed it was all about the "curb appeal". I guess I was right but some of it is really unnecessary. No above ground pools? Really? Who would care?

not me lol. but then you have what could be considered an eyesore in your neighbors yard, and don't forget lol, your neighbor HERE is about 2.5 feet away from your patio. really no such thing as "yards", nobody has a fence, and people own about 10 square feet outside of their doorwalls. literally. so unless they start to designate what KIND of above ground pool people can have, its probably safer to just disallow them. besides, we have a pool at our clubhouse, I think it's about 10 houses away from any of the residences here. it's always empty. people here never go outside, I've never seen anything like it.

Kitten My sister was on the board of an HOA. She said some of the proposals that came in were just strange. No visitors after 10 PM (that is after the last prime time show here). No repairs to any dwelling, inside or out, without their permission (one of the units toilet backed up and they had to wait until the HOA met next to get it repaired. cause was roots from the trees. They couldn't get a quorm because several of the board were on vacation). Silly stuff. Most didn't pass. Some did.
