Religious freedom is a founding principle of this country, and that absolutely needs to be protected, cherished, and fought for.
But it would be great if those that claim to be Christians actually understood the words of Christ.

This law isn't just for Christians, but, I agree with your statements.

Yes but being christians in a large number would be the one with less consequences refusing service to a minority, if not they would be the first to protest against it, just think if a muslim started to refuse service to and not buy supplies from infidels in indiana, he would probably be out of business in a very short time so it would allow the fundamentalists in larger number to bully any minority they don't like.
I also agree with the contradiction in their way to be christians.

I read the actual proposal text http://oag.ca.gov/system/files/initiatives/pdfs/15-0008%20%28Sodomy%29_0.pdf the only thing came into my mind were the words "sti cazzi!" for the not italians can be translated in "what the fuck" with additional surprise and fear.

Lucylastic -> RE: Indiania can now discriminant against anyone (3/29/2015 9:27:33 AM)

A "sti cazzi!" moment indeed, heh one of the few italian words I know:)

Yes you said it, didn't think you would have a problem doing so. It's backing up your lies with any proof that you fail so miserably at. But just for shits and giggles I will ask. Where is the post where I said something and did something else.

Lucylastic -> RE: Indiania can now discriminant against anyone (3/29/2015 10:38:47 AM)

Go play silly buggers elsewhere.
You are a hypocrite for bitching about insults.
You dont get to expand your goalposts.
At least not in my interactions with you.

How could a guy like that become a lawyer? Anti-sodomy law? Seriously? Sodomy was originally meant to be anal sex. Period. So, even a man and a woman enjoying anal sex would be committing sodomy. Nowadays, it refers to anal or oral sex. I wonder if this guy has ever had a blowjob. If he has, does he get to be the first with a bullet in the head?
Apparently, many Californians from both sides of the aisle are fucked in the head (pun intended).

its not just californians.....
it Is christianity

Really? You're going to shit can an entire religious faith because of some jack asses (including Westboro Baptist Church dipshits)? That's even worse than condemning all who claim Islam as terrorists.

[image]http://www.adherents.com/images/rel_pie.gif[/image]

You've besmirched even more people than those who categorically slam Islam.

This law is for anyone of any religious faith. Period.

Might a Christian get worked up quicker, or more easily than someone of another faith? Maybe.

Might a Christian in the US be less tolerant than someone of another faith? Maybe.

The law still is not limited to Christians. That would make it unConstitutional (or moreso, depending on how this law gets decided).

Wrong again. I said "You bitching about someone else using insults is funny as hell. Can anyone say hypocrite?" and that is what I meant. If I had just bitched about throwing out insults than you would have been correct, but I didn't so once again you fail. What a surprise, not.

Now if your done trolling maybe we can get back to the topic.

I wonder how many gay business owners in Indiana are losing money to the boycott?

edited to add.. and polite sub do let us know if you have problem with the link, you seem to be great at asking for them but once again fail to do so yourself.

Now if your done trolling maybe we can get back to the topic.

yes...but we're sure Obama (like bill Clinton surely would have) has "evolved" on the subject...

slvemike4u -> RE: Indiania can now discriminant against anyone (3/30/2015 4:59:33 AM)

Funny that you mention that Bounty, cause I think he did "evolve" on the subject.Took Biden to get out in front of him,but he came around...

So Obama used to be a tyrannical conservative pushing religious dogma down people's throats and in favor of people having the right to refuse to serve gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals, and transgendereds? Yeah, I don't think so. Maybe the law, despite its flaws, just doesn't do any of the things joether claimed it does in the first place.

Interesting bit of backstory:

When a Democrat introduced the Federal RFRA, which Congress passed with overwhelming Democrat support, and which was signed into law by a Democrat president, it wasn't anti-gay. When 19 states enacted materially identical legislation, it wasn't anti-gay. But Indiana's materially identical law is anti-gay because some assholes are in a photo.

Tell me again who is lying?

Not just any photo. The three antigay lobbyists are in positions of proximity and honor as the governor signs the bill.

hot4bondage -> RE: Indiania can now discriminant against anyone (3/30/2015 7:48:41 AM)

I think the disconnect comes from Indiana's tendency to be several years behind the curve on social issues, and the lobbyists' past political activity. The combination gives a strong appearance of impropriety. The law itself sounds fine to me. As a previous poster said, even the ACLU backed the Federal version. But Pence and his lackeys have consistently opposed the ACLU for decades. It would be foolish to assume that they are suddenly in cahoots.
