Did you ever stop to think that the results of trade agreements take 5 to 10 years to become apparent? In reality, NAFTA & China caused this recession & the mortgage crisis along with Illegal aliens flooding in here & taking away jobs from legal citizens. If you lose your construction job or any other type of job such as a motel housekeeper, that can be the difference between paying the mortgage or not. You can up with all the bullshit politically correct articles you want, but that is what caused it.

Obamacare, will be the same thing. Also, it's a fact that the vast majority of these "new jobs" went to illegal aliens. How does that help legal citizens. The answer is it doesn't. It just makes it more difficult for the rest of us to find work.

Thanks to low gas prices, a very high percentage of people are saving $100 a month in gas. Yet the economy still isn't booming. So keep your obamacare while it last, but just remember, that your premiums would have been just as cheap as what you are paying now, if the obamacare didn't make damn near everything a paid benefit. You didn't really come out ahead did you. Now, you aren't only paying for your own birth control, you are paying for eveyrone else's too.

Ain't that a kick in the pants.

Either you misunderstood what I typed or you didn't mean this in response to me. if you go back and look, I am opposed to NAFTA and any other FTA (Including the Future Teachers of America).

I stand in strong opposition to Obummercare and I am all for immigration reform in the form of actually enforcing our immigration laws (something the DOJ couldn't care less about, at this juncture).

Just a word to the wise: We're a bunch of pricks and bitches on this board. We have a very high level of requirements from posters who make broad statements like you did. It's this little thing we like to call "proof" (aka, citations, references, etc.).

I thought ACA was supposed to kill off job growth?

http://www.wsj.com/articles/jobs-report-u-s-adds-295-500-jobs-unemployment-falls-to-5-5-1425648924

The strongest stretch of job creation in two decades pushed the U.S. unemployment rate into the Federal Reserve’s target zone, keeping the central bank on track to raise interest rates as early as June and jolting investors worried about higher borrowing costs and slimmer corporate profits.

By your standards the ACA killed job growth AND the economy

quote:

The sputtering U.S. economy created just 126,000 jobs in March as bad weather, weak consumer spending and flailing corporate profits resulted in the worst report since December 2013.

Beyond Friday’s jobs number, a wide range of other indicators suggest growth nearly stopped in the first quarter of the year.
