I'm not sure about the laws in America surrounding abortion but here in Europe, a perfectly healthy mother who is carrying a perfectly healthy 7 month foetus could not legally get an abortion. At that stage of pregnancy the only exceptions would be threat to the life of either mother or the foetus.

Here it varies from one state to another, some going as far as "partial birth" abortion.
If it is no longer possible to have a legal abortion then you can have murder without the paradox.

Overview of fetal homicide state laws
http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/fetal-homicide-state-laws.aspx

Why "fetal person-hood" can be a contentious issue:
http://www.propublica.org/article/stillborn-child-charge-of-murder-and-disputed-case-law-on-fetal-harm

Laws need to strike a balance between reproductive rights of the mother and ethical harm to a growing human embryo. I don't think any legal venue has got it "spot on" yet.

The murder only exist in the minds of the ignorant.

What "abortion" is, is entirely debatable.

Only to the ignorant. The medical profession had it figured out a long time ago.

Terms such as 'infanticide' are also appropriate,

Only to those who lack a command of the english language.

though demands for 'politically correct' speech have brainwashed people as planned

Politically correct seems to mean whatever the whiner of the day wishes it to be.

Its not pretty, no matter what you call it, or why.

It is but a medical proceedure. Confusing only to the ignorant who depend on an imaginary friend to tell them right from wrong.

No more or less than the atheist left, so whats your point

Are there no athiest on the right?

If I were religious, how would that be pertinent to the discussion.

May we see the list of non religious people who feel that their imaginary friend is against abortion?

thompsonx -> RE: Grisly "murder"case in Colo. (4/7/2015 1:19:39 PM)

If it is murder it is murder.

It ain't so it ain't

You allow political correctness override logic.

Logic dictates we listen to what medical science says. Political correctness seems more to reflect the dictates of someones imaginary friend.

If it is just a potential human in one case it always is.

By that logic everytime you jack off you are a murderer.

That doesn't make this crime in any way excusable.

The only place this is a crime is in your mind.

Ok hypothetical situation.
If you believe that it is ok for the abortionist to destroy a fetus because the mother wants to be rid of it how do you judge this situation.
A woman on the way to an abortion clinic for the "procedure" if mugged. Due to the injuries she has a miscarriage. Since she wanted to get rid of the baby how can you charge the mugger with murder?

Since there is no murder there is no charge of murder. There is assault and battery so that is what the mugger is charged with.

Another way of looking at it. If a person gets a doctor they know to give them a deliberate od and kill them isn't it still murder? If not why is another person killing the murder?

Pretty simple...the live guy who wants to die is a human being.
The fetus is not.
