Hello all. I am sorry if I am asking something that has been asked before. I did search for an answer first but could not find one.

Does anyone know of any work-around to make your profile picture thumbnail appear in other people's searches? I know that if you click on the
thumbnail it shows the picture but it seems some users don't know this and they assume you don't have a picture. As I am sure you know if you click on show
all pictures it does not show any.

If anyone has found a solution (i.e. using a different browser) to get pictures to upload properly without getting an error pages, please let me know.

I appreciate it.

From what I understand this is a known issue for Support and they are working their servers off trying to get it fixed. There is no workaround at this time.

I tried changing resolution (pixel dimensions) but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
Was worth a try.

I also tried changing the resolution and it did work for me. I went from 600x664 (which I guess defaulted to 542x600) to 400x443 -- although it's extremely odd that the size actual image on my profile hasn't changed, and is still displaying as 542x600. Old cached version maybe? (It's actually kind of unfortunate because the quality of the picture is so poor that it really doesn't need to be that big)

In any case, either because of the change in resolution or just because of the re-upload my thumbnail is no longer broken. If there is a maximum res of 600px, maybe try uploading something smaller than that.

Tech is making some small progress after many set backs. We are seeing new pictures showing up and hope that things will improve steadily. I wish I could tell you more, but I cannot. I can hardly talk without choking, so communication is slow, but we are finally seeing some progress.
