Seems to me that the most open administration in history is still blocking the release of information.

The Committee, however, faces obstacles and frustrations. It is difficult to conduct a fact-‐centric congressional investigation when the Administration impedes the Committee’s progress by repeatedly failing to answer the Committee’s requests or to provide information in a timely manner.

ken I was recently listening to some conversation on this---and this suggestion came up (which I agreed with):

that one reason why trey gowdy is currently complaining, in the form of a report, about the white house's lack of forthrightness, is so that when the investigation drags out smack dab into the middle of the elections next year and all the liberals are whining about how this is a Hillary Clinton hit job, he will be able to say "look, we asked for this stuff way back when and you didn't give it to us. its your fault its still going on."

75000 pages of documents initially provided, then another 4000 and so on, and no actual definition of the documents for us to see, so a very one sided and absolutely spun (harry gowdy makes issa look like a cherub) and so pretty useless politics.

Ijreview is worthless in whole and in part.

But one of the questions asked:

Why did we have an embassy in Libya even though it was a security threat?

uh, not sure how foreign policy is the baliwick of the house rabid rightwing, since constitutionally, not their monkey. But beyond that, it should be a matter of a sentence or two, there is nothing that is of probative value there.

what happened before during and after?
asked and answered in 7 other house hearings.

how was the aftermath explained and how did it evolve?
ok, what is the deal with that? Arent we getting the inciteful and anullized opinions of Faux and Breitbart, isnt the truth out there?

Otter We have an embassy in Libya because we have diplomatic relations. Sheesh I learned that in elementary school.

The congress is required to have oversight in how the purse is spent. They allot the money and if it isn't spent correctly. If they didn't provide oversight then they couldn't investigate anyone or anything. Again, I learned that in elementary school.

As for all the investigations, no two reports, if I remember correctly came to the exact same conclusions.

Did you bother reading the report in it entirety? I did. I gleened pretty much what Ijreview did from it.

That was one of the three key inquisitions the whole fuck o ree is about for the 8th time. Of course you read that.

My understanding is they are not questioning bills here.

And now this 8th report will come to two exact same conclusions? Because all conclusions were similar, there being no wrong doing.
