I've seen that for a while. The Saul Alinsky school of not debating the issues but ridiculing the person being debated makes it difficult for those on the left to not have the narrative controlled. They project it as a lack of trust in the source, which is really just a way to get back to the Alinsky ridicule.

There is no projection that the rabid rightwing shitbreathing is not factual. It has been repeatedly proven false.

And they really look stupid dealing out their innuendo and impugnments in their buffoonery and hysteria.

Isn't that what's happening to George Stephanopoulos now? Because of donations to a charity, no less.

Anybody actually read George's book, All Too Human? He was traumatized by his years at the White House, to the point of needing therapy and medication. Disgusted by the Lewinski scandal and how it was handled. But even after all of that, he believed our former President would still be capable of great things, through the Clinton Foundation. Most Americans did, and do, including both former Presidents Bush.

But George hasn't been following blindly for quite some time now. At no point did he dismiss the accusations Schweitzer made in his book. He said point blank that the Clinton campaign would have to answer the allegations.

Of course, had the Clintons listened to him when he said the same about Whitewater... Well, things could've been different.

Not for donating to charity, for failing to disclose three very large donations (and failing to disclose other connections) to a very specific foundation, while skewering the author of a book that is critical of said foundation on national TV in the guise of an objective journalist

He is well connected to the Clintons, but he and his network are trying to pretend that he is non-partial

I have removed post because someone didn't understand that it was time for the attacks to stop. The others quoted or responded.

It seems that typically I will have to take one side or the other out of the thread or prevent them from posting because they don't take it seriously when a moderator steps in and makes a request or becomes serious about whatever is going on. I get accused of being partial or having a side I am assisting, even when I have removed post from both 'sides' and even banned from both 'sides' in a thread.

I often hear, they are just trying to get the thread shut down.

Well, it was both 'sides' that brought this on. I am locking the thread and leaving it intact so nothing is hidden here. Then if/when this continues, I won't have to prove I wasn't partial. We might lose some threads and for that I am sorry, but this way, there isn't anything hidden that can be used to mess with me and some may just get the hint that I am not playing this game and be super good. I kind of like the thought of that. When someone comes up missing, you will know why, at least in a feisty section.

I don't need to hear the name calling and threats in cmail anymore. Keep it public ladies and gentlemen. I don't moderate the forum based on friends, parties or anything but, going too far or breaking rules of some sort.

I think I just burned my bra.
