Actually PS, in the Gellar instance, while we touted free speech, it was amply discussed that Free Speech is protection from the government but it doesn't mean it won't draw private ire and get you punched on the nose. If that wasn't brought up here, specifically, it was mentioned on most all of the news sites I read regarding the issue. Sanity is allowed a nose punching reaction, and the freedom of speech to say so. And, I don't see that, in this case, it was merely because a loony leftist said it. It was a loony statement and hateful to any political persuasion.


Bullshit, free speech is free spech, unless you are suggesting people cant say what they want. Anyone who replies (as I probably would) with a smack in the mouth would get charged with assault.

I've been to quite a few.

They would holler, shout, and yell. They would speak insult, threat, and determination. The sort of stuff that happens....JUST BEFORE A RIOT....an making the police nervous as shit!

And what does this have to do with a Dem operative wanting someones children to die? Not a thing but you have a compulsion (it appears, unlike you I can't read minds) to try to change any thread about Dem wrongdoing into one about fantasies of conservative wrongdoing. Tea party riot, you have to be joking. Sure it wasn't you and some of your friends pretending to be tea party people so the media could trash them?

Ive always maintained that the best answer to inappropriate speech, whatever you want to call it, contemptible speech... Is more free speech, rather than less. The issue here is that you dont understand how the concept of free speech works

Again, whats remarkable about what was said is he didnt seem cognizant of the fact that there was something wrong with what he tweeted

He is literally, what do you call it, a severe narcissistic, or a sociopath... Yet, even with that mindset he functioned at the top of the Democratic Party of Sacramento

They accepted his behavior there, even promoted it

What I find laughable is some of these same folks on here defending Mr. Brauer are the same people who were so up in arms over Pamela Gellars free speech. I don't recall anything in Geller's speech where she was hoping that children die.

Sanity, I grew up across the street from a communist community organizing lawyer. For entertainment I went to events they held. Those people talk like that to each other all of the time. They have code words like Zionist. And because they do they're always thinking we do as well. That how they suspect "thug" is a code word. They're usually just smart enough to keep it confined to their living room. That sort of thing is really why they believe conservatives do the same thing.
