Oh, Tommie, you fucking liar. You have been on about that constantly for 8 years.
Now, so way back his dad goes to the rightwing spiritual advisors in the church and they bury it, and it takes Oprah Winfrey (not your typical rightwing shitbreather) to set the law on them

For years the rightwing shitbreathers have covered this up and now the chickens come home to roost.

Empty the clown car.

Better start figuring out how you are going to impugn Hillary for the next 8 years of your life.

we have a mentally superior right winger on the boards?
REALLY???
coulda fooled me, who is it?
do we know?

I'm not too sure myself but I do know it's such a rare thing there ought to be a prize for our "mentally superior right winger". I'd imagine a "mentally superior right winger" would have to feel rather lonely and isolated so perhaps a good prize would be some free anti-loneliness' counselling and therapy

William F Buckley was the last thinking conservative in America, and even he was a bit of a stuck-in-the-mud doofus, although in hindsight he does deserve credit for actually making an effort to debate his opponents, as opposed to merely flinging poo at them with demonizing buzzwords like “Democrat party,” and “liberal” as code for anti-American. Post-Buckley, in the Fox “News” era (ironic quotes), we have a new breed of right wing radical pseudo-conservative who chooses only to listen to the sound of his own inarticulate shriek in a hermetically sealed echo chamber of self-righteous, self-induced, madness.

LMAS, there you go. A typical leftist intellectual get together. Let's all smoke pot in the garage, say really mean things about people who arent like us and all agree we're the smartest.

Anything to undermine legitimate discussion and debate

mnottertail -> RE: Republicans for President!! (5/26/2015 7:52:14 AM)

The legitimate discussion and debate is that none of those clowns will be elected president.

Anything else?

Excellent post! (Although I would say Ron Paul is a thinking conservative).

I hope you are right! I have no idea what will happen.

IMO, Hillary is both incompetent, and extremely untrustworthy. However she is one hundred times a better choice than anyone running as a Republican.

A sad state of politics in the US indeed.

bounty44 -> RE: Republicans for President!! (5/27/2015 3:52:59 AM)

that's fascinating---

and im not altogether in disagreement with the premise behind your statement---democrats would rather vote for someone who is incompetent and untrustworthy because she is a democrat as opposed to any number of republicans who have been successful (competent) as governors, senators, or in their private careers, and have done nothing to undermine the public trust, because they are republicans.

in short its, "i'll take the incompetent and dishonorable person because I like her politics over the competent and honorable person because I don't like his." I cant imagine myself voting for a democrat no matter how bad the republican candidate would be.

its a rock and a hard place which I imagine, can only be solved by someone else winning the democratic nomination.

At least this one was honest. Most little kool aide drinkers won't even admit Hillary is a thief and a liar. So perhaps what will happen is people who are yellow dog democrats (they'd vote for a yellow dog before they'd vote republican) just won't vote. I'm fine with that.

mnottertail -> RE: Republicans for President!! (5/27/2015 8:17:36 AM)

There are no republicans who have been successful.

The perhaps is hallucination.

The felchers are in denial.

A jest warps a war screen making leftist nerves initialize the phoenix underneath a destroyed idea. The stressed leftist felcher surnames an ash across the enclosed researcher and BOOM! The knife bosses the dentist.

mnottertail -> RE: Republicans for President!! (5/27/2015 10:38:51 AM)

That is the most profound thing you have ever said, sadly.

Santorum is now joining the clown club. Another loser heard from.

Sanity -> RE: Republicans for President!! (5/27/2015 10:58:46 AM)

A mumble jokes about the orange beside the deprived evil.

This nut assumes a task.

The rightwing loons assemble in the clown car. It is hopeless. They cry but no avail. They are known stupid. They fade into the vapors.

I've voted for three democrats (local) in the last two years. Only one of them won.

One of the ones that didn't win was a guy I really liked. I offered to work for his campaign for free. When I met him, he was going door-to-door, shaking hands of anyone he found outside their house.

I told him I was a Libertarian and couldn't help him in the primary, but we started chatting, anyway. I told him I was a journalist and asked if he minded talking to me. he was cool with it so, we talked for about 45 minutes. Truth be told, he didn't profile like a democrat. He was more of a centrist, like myself and is only the second democrat that I ever heard say, flat-out, that he would vote against any law that promotes or expands abortion.

I think this speaks to a couple of different issues:

He was mis-branded - He wasn't really a democrat, but his mom and dad were democrats (back when "liberal" meant "free-thinker") and he just "followed in their footsteps".

He was running in a place that is so democratic, it's a crime to turn right on red - (Okay that was a joke, but you get my point) Anyone calling themselves "Independent", "Libertarian" or (God forbid!) "Republican" can't get elected because most people here were raised just like this candidate of whom I speak.

A funny thing is happening, though. I go to the local community college and I get to talk with a lot of the kids, on a daily basis. There's an up-swell of growing independent thought. I don't think it's being taught, at the school, per se, but it's out there and it's palpable.

The dems (here, at least) are losing some ground.
