Actually, if he's proven guilty in a court of law...since he is accused of a crime...then he deserves jail time. If he's ever said anything against rape or abuse, then...like Ray Rice...Bill Clinton...Stephanie McCrea, people all in the public eye though not due to being of the media...then he's a hypocrite.

I dislike Bill O'Reilly. While the information might be true; there is the presumption of innocence. That he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by his peers (i.e. a jury). That if he can not afford a lawyer, one is appointed to him. That he is allowed access to the evidence against him, and can choose not to testify in court.

Again, I dislike the guy. But he has many rights (including the ones I didn't list here).

Even as I read the article I was not really thinking "fuck ya, he's guilty as shit!". No, I was more of "What of this is true and what is simply the bitter divorce and custody battles spilling over?".

I don't see anything about criminal charges being filed. Just an ugly divorce.

The only reason to leak any info to the media would be to pressure O'Reilly into settling faster, or for more money.

Its worse when you give contributions to charity.

It's amazing how the small change stuff so dominates most people's imaginations because the larger issues are too boring and technocratic (highway funding, pricing for medicaid drugs, setting the retirement age, fixing immigration policy, maintaining the national infrastructure.)
